Disappointed with the quality

My 3rd and last watch from Chazingtime, this time GMT Master II with SS/YG Oyster Bracelet arrived today after 8 weeks.

Really difficult to wind and set time/date, missing the firm click when unlocking the crown to set the watch.

Took me some time to work around but mechanism seems very sensitive, I wont even bother asking for a refund as I can see where that goes.

Most importantly the outer dial doesnt even line up to the 12 and is off centre, which I would have expected the QC process would pick up.

This is the second Rolex GMT with problems, first one GMT II Pepsi Oyster Bracelet and the pins kept falling out of the band so I ordered a new oyster band $180usd at my cost to fix that problem.

At least that seems to have fixed the issue for now, but again at my cost making the total cost for the Pepsi nearly 1000USD.

The second watch is a Rolex Oyster it seems to be holding up for the moment, maybe just steer clear of the GMT’s from these guys.

I would normally expect some better quality management given all the photos they send, but the photos dont give you the complete picture.

My gmt had an off center bezel, I fixed it. I don’t feel blaming the TD for the factory issues is fair.

YOU should have picked that up in the QC process. How is that off centre? You mean the bezel is off centre?

For this model, Clean is king. Then ARF. Then GMF.

Rootbeer.. the most debatable model... there is a new ARF tungsten version to match the weight of gen, so maybe not better but different to Clean. If it was me I would still pick Clean, but this is why we say there is preferences.

Sorry guys I might be a newbie but what is the promoted QC process for??? This watch is not even worth $50 in Thailand. The minute has moves around when I tilt the watch, no wonder I was having trouble setting the time……I have not even removed the shrink wrap from the watch.

I’ve spent over $3k with these guys you would think they would be supportive and give me some service, or offer an alternative replacement. So I recon a refund is totally out of the question here. Chazingtime are gangsters and not helpful at all.
