Strange Gen panda has different coronets. Panda has big hole vs black dial. Now it makes sense why CF messed up their corontes in V3. Seems like they built new cornotes for panda and ended up swapping the same on the black dial.
All the coronet in V3 black dial are wrong. Either too small hole or too big or too wide compare to the gen black dial coronet.

too bad you are comparing with the wrong watch, this is the new Daytona 126500 ;-)
Yes, that's the new 126500 but it is still weird even between the black dial 126500 and white dial 126500 that the coronets are different on gen. Now these are just renders on Rolex's website so will be interesting to see if that also holds true in real life

I worked up a few High Resolution Comparison pictures using pictures posted of the Clean 116500 V3 in this thread and in a couple other resent threads...

This first one shows the difference between the Gen 116500 Black and White Dials.
The Sub-dials are clearly thiner on the Black dial, but I assume that some of the Factories thought that all of these Daytona Sub-dials were the same thickness. It appears that both Clean and BTF have finally corrected this mistake on the Black Dials...

It’s the same thing on 116500’s (white dial has bigger coronet hole). Pics for reference.

Why would rolex use a different coronet on the black dial whereby the rest of the Daytona dials are using the the same bigger hole coronet?

Sorry guys, I've read a lot of posts about this CF V3 and BT... but I'd like to ask if there are any comparative photos of the case. Is BT really that different and better than CF? Thank you

case CF fits the 116520 which had a less shaped case than the 116500 (obviously the differences are minimal). The BTF case is perfect for the new generation of Daytonas. this is the profile. Fantastic!

Hey guys, would you agree the coronet on this Clean V3 dial is from a bad batch? Considering to RL it, but just wanted to get a 2nd opinion. Thanks!

"Bad batch" is relative. If you are asking if the hole is big, then yes.

Got my QC today. I already RL it bc of the coronet issue. Now i got the message that they try to pick the best ones for qc and other ones could be worse. Since that my brain and my impatience tries to trick me to GL it. What would you do?

Just received QC pics for my Daytona V3 from Clean Factory, what do you think of it?
Dont mind the spec on the hour subdial, it was removed in the last pic

QC pics are meant to check whether there is something wrong on the specific watch that you are being given by your TD. People should not RL a watch because of a batch issue, because 1) the others will have the same issue, and 2) you should have done your homework, known that there was an issue with that batch and therefore not ordered if you couldn't live with it.

Now with that said is your TD right to say that the next watch may be worse? Yes. As long as the watch is from the se bat h you will still have the same coronet issue, but you may have other flaws as well.

But it's your choice

Cosa faresti?

This seems to be a V3 "feature" not a batch issue. I have yet to find a TD or a V3 with a different corronet...

Hi all
Hoping you can help me, what do the experts think of this watch? Does it look good?

It is being sold as a clean but I am unsure, is it an old version or a fake clean?

I have read loads of articles but my head is now in a spin lol. I thought I would reach out to the masters.

It looks like to me it might have a blue tinge but thinking this may be lighting?

Thanks in advance for any help

@anonwatch if youve read a lot of articles im wondering how you come to the conclusion that ordering from a non-TD is a good idea?
