Is it better to get a BTF V2 and switch the dial or a clean V3 and switch the crystal? ^^

Is the case of the BTF and finish better?
In my opinion BTF v2 is the better choice. Clean v3 dial is better though.
Buy a btf v2 and switch the dial.

See here, perfection

why the hand gen? I do not understand. The dial has steel rep indexes that pair perfectly with the hands. If you put your hands on you will have a difference in material and light
I dug this out from an old sales thread of mine.

This is an ARF dial with gen hands. I don't think there is much contrast between the SS markers and the WG hands.

The dial in the black one is better in cf v3.

Overall built quality and parts except the dial is better on BTF
Hmm I would never tell. Is there some difference in the movement finish? And thanks for the answer.

I've had both a 116520 from cf myself as well as bought a few CF Daytonas for friends.

All have these flaws:
Pushers are very wobbly. Crown is extremely sharp. Most bracelets tend to not have good springbars and have a slight wobble in the endlinks where a small slit appears where they connect to the case.

My movement I have had Domi look at, as I get all my watches serviced when I receive them and Domi told me to sell it and get a btf. Movement is cleaner as there's not as mich grime and dirt in it. As well as the winding being smoother. almost like the noob 4130s. Those are the very best of the bunch in case of pushers, crowns and movement. And btf is right there with noob. Cf isn't. That is my opinion.

The movement in both comes from Dadong. What he difference in quality comes from, i cannot tell you. But it's there.

Many people like @Bobi01 like the cf v1 116500 case for it's shape. He says it's sharper. I don't see a difference there personally.

I have compared both btf and cf and personally I've chosen Btf to be, in my Mind, the better choice.

As for dials. Cf v3 is better in black.
BTF v2 in white is better.

See here:
Noob with gen hands and crown and btf V2 dial, cf bezel, gen gasket and Prof Crystal or gen I can't remember 😂
Btf V2 stock with cf v3 dial

In my opinion, simply perfection.

Btw I said this in a few private chats a few times:

Imagine we would have had watches of the above quality three years ago. With this look. We would not have modded anything. I would have shown you this picture and you would have said these are gen. Incredible where we have come.

Can you explane please why cf v3 pushers are wabby?
When the pushers are unscrewed to operate, they are more wobbly than BT. It is subtle, but something I have noticed on the two CFs that I had.

As @ombre said, unscrewed they feel like the tube is too thin. They are wobbling when you wiggle. Btf and noob don't. Gen doesn't either.

All due respect my brother but if you are talking about black one on the picture, I can see Hawaii through that left side of SEL
Yea there's a little gap. But it's not visible on wrist. Only when you hold the watch up to the light.
It wasn't there before. But when I changed to gen springbars, it appeared 😂😂😂

Tried another bracelet but it's wobbly 😂

Kept it like that. Not visible on wrist. And it doesn't move either. So I'm good with it. Gotta love with some flaws, it's a Chinese toy watch after all 😂

Hey mate so you said overall BTF is better quality. What about the Daytona 116519 grey dial model? Would I be better with the BTF model? Clean is more expensive and people say it’s better but hard to decide grrr It’s my holy grail model so I’m being a bit picky 😂

Overall the oyster flex models are better than btf when it comes to dials and the color of the gold.
The best oyster flex rep band is also manufactured by clean, so that's a plus.

I have not had them in hand so I can't judge for the crowns and pushers situation there.

But common ground for all us here is: oyster flex models from cf are better. On the steel Daytonas it's a preference thing.

What are you expecting from a rep? You want them to be better than gen?

Lots of gen Daytonas have same gap.

You wont see on your wrist you see it on photos
