Are there any high resolution side by side pictures of a clean v3 and a gen? The ones we have are a bit foggy I think or low resolution
Clean and BT look very different side by side
Like different watches. In so many ways. Makes me think that although they are much better than the previous editions. Daytona reps are no where close to submariner reps...

There still isn't a good black 116500 dial available, for some reason they just can’t get the details right. the only route is a gen dial.
The white 116500 is more forgiving. When I compare my gen white dial to my wife’s build (ARF Dial) it’s a bit more difficult to see the differences

From pics only i didn't think it would be this much of a difference. I can tell you this: definitely worth the swap. Haven't seen a dial this close to gen.

My BTF with CF v3 dial. On its way back from servicing. Waiting on a set of gen hands to come in and I'll be all set. It has a gen seconds hand on it right now since the rep on didn't fit on the gen seconds wheel.

I think the dials look great. I feel that the CF crystal mutes the subdials a bit too much. But under the DEEP xtal in the BTF, It looks fantastic.

why the hand gen? I do not understand. The dial has steel rep indexes that pair perfectly with the hands. I think BTF dial looks like fake, CF V3 dial looks like gen
))))))))I gotta say this i exchanged my panda dial for btf V2 Panda today too.
Gen hands. Like arf, the indexes have a certain gold shimmer too
Btw seconds hand is centered, just the angle

I had a gen clutch, seconds wheel, and seconds chrono wheel put in, and the rep seconds hand would not fit. So I just decided to get gen hands. In the picture I posted, the second hand is gen and I think it matches the markers well.

Is it better to get a BTF V2 and switch the dial or a clean V3 and switch the crystal? ^^
