This is my old Noob with ARF dial , bezel and gen crystal gasket
Very nice, you are making me a bit jealous
I think I will go this route. Maybe in the future I will get a gen Dial and Bezel to upgrade.

Gen dial? This is wonderful!
Well, if not gen it is a very good aftermarket dial in my humble opinion, and above all with a correct font. Much better than nowadays Noob onesCoronet is too flat for it to be gen.
Not gen dial, a very nice one IMO but not gen. Also the watch has the popping sels as the WG models, picked it up for those two reasons. But was sold the other day due to the minimum use. Original owner posted some relevant info in the thread about the piece if you interested.
My idea was to take that dial an bracelet into a thinner spec case (Noob or ARF) with ARF clasp (idk if it matches) and get a nice 116509 in a reduced budget.
Thank you for your elaborate answer!
Currently I have sent a Noob and ARF 116520 white dial to Domi to create me an hybrid. I told him that many people here on the Forum suggest to shave the ARF bezel, but I guess - as the expert he is - he also knows this mod. I am relly excited to see the end result in a few weeks.
However I would also like to have a black 116520 hybrid and as I am to stingy to buy a gen Dial I will most likely buy the ARF doner watch albeit the small dial flaws. In my opinion the slightly fatter subdials on the ARF might pass as a period variation and is for me more acceptable than the wrong and to narrow 5 liner spacing on the NOOB.
I guess we all have our different preferences.

On the left is his noob franken with gen dial, gen crown / tubus and ARF bezel.
On the right is a noob with ARF dial, GEN bezel and gen crystal.
Hope this helps you.
