Hey guys,

since you are all owning a blue Daytona, what version is yours?
And what do you guys think of the blue Noob Daytona 4130?

I would love to own one, but I'm not too sure about the shade of color. I only ever saw it from TD pics and there it seems like it's not dark and saturated enough...
What do you think?

The color is rather dark on my model according to the sun. I think the new noob version of rework the dial

B016 thanks for the pictures!

The dial looks actually really great!
When did you buy your Noob?

Bezel ARF V1 is identical to the gen!
Do you think the ARF dial is so different from the gen?

Anyone here ever fit a JH / OMF Daytona dial to a Noob case and Noob 4130 movement? If yes, was any modification required besides for cutting the dial feet off the JH / OMF dial?

She's a beaut! Can you share the specs.

Thanks

ARF V1 with Noob caseback, removed deco plate and changed rotor to give it gen thickness.
I wanted to build Noob base franken 116520 with gen dial + bezel. But then I look at this beautiful watch and I have doubts.
Is the ARF V1 ring identical to the gen in each incision.
Dial?

Awesome beauty mate:)
The ARF dial is really close except it doesn't have the Golden hue in subdials. They appear pure silver as opposed to Gen Golden hued silver subdials.
Rest of the dial is really really close n excellent in finish. cheers!!!

First of all, the noob dial is wrong. The subdials should have individual sunburst. Your best bet is to buy a noob and put an ARF dial on our find an after market one.

Also the SEL is wrong on all the rep models,

it depends on the reflexes. Arf V1 116520 has it perfectly replicated dial gen chromalight 2015-2016 where the counters are silver

But if you are going to compare Gen vs rep... please use same angle. But thanks for sharing anyway. Not criticizing just a suggesti0n. Would love to see differences for a novice like me

Good to know mate....it could be that these latest year Daytonas had silver subdials with no golden hues. I have 2009 116520s and they definitely have the Golden hue in silver subdials.....
you have got a stunner there, enjoy in great health. cheer!!!

Yeah, but check out B016's Noob, the subdials all have their individual sunburst. Seems like there was an dial update. The dial also looks alot darker.

I couldn't care less about the SEL. I actually like the steel-like SELs alot more.

B016 : What movement does your noob have? I do not think it is a SA4130. As far as I know the SA4130 blue dial steel bezel Daytonas were only released last December. The only blue dial Noob with the super clone that was released last year was a Fantasy 116519 with a ceramic bezel and fixed SELs. But you stated that your watch is a year old.
