i have a few Davsn...you guys seen them all...and i am pretty happy with them. of course...i dont expecta a 200$ Vaclume when buying a 350 $ Dvsn.

Too bad a persons 1st post in this forum is a rant. I can relate though. The only Davidsen I bought was his "ultimate" fiddy that had an 'H' movement in it, not the correct 'E' movement. Aside from that it ran alomst ten minutes fast a day and died every now and then until, I smacked it, and it ticked again. Instead of shipping it back to him, my watchsmith fixed it, however there have been way too many complaints about his quality to ever make me consider another purchase. Too bad indeed.

so, we need a dealer that has all the diffrent models of Panerai watches ....dials, movements, hands....casebacks, only swiss movements, perfect craftmanship, best possible lume - and he does custom moddings. for not more then 550-600 $ - did i forget a 100% QC ? waterproofing ?
could be possible, but i am dreaming.

buying from Angus and VacMod. great. whats the price ?

...hooligan. Yes it is good. I'm sure DN does some great stuff. But I am not just looking to get my 111 modded. You can find a hundred guys to throw some powdercoat on a PAM. Hell, that's all they apparently can do. I am doing special projects and creations that span different brands and require skill and the ability to think outside the box. I'd rather have them ignore me than send some screwed up piece of junk just to make a buck.

i have never had any issues with my pvd swiss rwi watch and it was from davidsen, the red lume really doesn't work but the watch is kick ass. even the pvd seems different than what was on my 195. the 195 seemed to scratch relatively easy but the rwi watch just gets this very cool worn look at the edges, i don't know how to explain it but it is really cool. the only issue i have ever had with it was the fact none of them came with ar coating and it was difficult for me to read the time between the reflections on the crystal and the cool red numbers. it is with vac right now and the crystal is being sent to poland for a little ar!!

Well just to show that I am confident about DSN, I'm buying the 082 from him at 380.00 smackers. I'll post pics when I receive, he has upgraded the dial with a mixture of C-1 and C-3 lume and he's forwarding Pics to I see what I'm getting. BTW what dealer on these site continually updates his pieces actually tries to make them better? I'm not here to try and defend anyone because I've had a few issues myself but I will say DSN has never not made it good. BTW if you saw the insult laden tirade that this poster sent to DSN you wonder why DSN puts up with this BS. Guy had a fit because it took him 24 hrs to respond. Give me a break.

It was his first (and only?) post. No follow-up, no photos, no nothing.

DSN is slow sometimes (I had to send 5 emails to get a response) but I think he is genuine (but I've given up waiting for the replacement deployant buckles he was going to send - the first ones were cr@p)

Dvdsn gave all the money back and offered to deliver a flawless product to him.
so, he tried to make it ok. anyways...pretty hardcore words this guy.
he does not even consider it needy to update RWI of this developement...which would have been fair.
well, after screaming and cursing here...he is gone ...and never heared of him again.
speaks for his personality !
