When buying from ZF just factor in $150-200 for a service+cleaning and possibly some realignment.

Its not just service and cleaning. When it comes with small scratches on the dial and other marks you cant actually get it off. Happened to me in the past more than 5-6 times actually. Had to send the watches back to China.

Yeah those are some more serious issues. I've only had the dust on the dial and movement problems so I guess I've been lucky

Got my ZF Big Pilot Muhammad Ali - really really nice to be honest. Movement, solid and quiet. Keeping excellent time and no visible QC flaws. Crown is even working well. So total tossup, I wish all of their products had better QC though so I could purchase more from them. Still wary.

Received another QC from Lucy after dial /marker crooked of LPP 3777 and.... another crooked dial . I'm going to think that all dials of this LPP are crooked. Don't know ,really .
now it's holyday ,like I wrote in other threads, I will made a decision and try to reject and find a V6F .

Got 3 watches from Lucy. All got some issues after being delivered :(
Just ditched one and fixed one from local watch smith.
She said that factory was slow but Why Intime and Puretime are 3-4 times faster than her?

I have been just sticking to Puretime. Got one serviced from puretime. Nice and fast service!!!

I have to admit that I don't have any issues with the Big Pilot Petit Prince edition but my IWC 3777 is fucked my crown an tube are stripped. Well I don't know if the crown is stripped or the tube but If any of you guys want to part with a crown and tube or a complete case for the 3777 I'm willing to buy it guys :)!

Further QC Update - My 2nd ZF IWC Big Pilot Petite suffered the same problem as the 1st one (minute and hour hands came loose).

But good news, I see from the INTime newsletter today (May 4th/17) that there is now a V2 of this watch available from the ZF - proper lume this time and another opportunity to get screwed over by the ZF Factory's poor QC........................NO THANKS!!

Looking at the ZF V2 BP PP you mention above - isn't the strap meant to be orange leather on the back?

Lucy tests the watches for days to be sure they run well. If she sees a problem she gets it fixed before shipping.

Bought my IWC Big Pilot ZF from Intime in june last year and it's working like a charm. No problems with it at all. Runs smoothly and easily has 3-4 days power reserve.
Sad to see so many people having problems with their watches.

Same here. I bought 5007 ZF 15months back and have had no problems yet. Finishing is good and it gives me upto 3 days power reserve.
I am glad I read this post coz after my last purchase I had no reason to doubt any watch coming from ZF.

I finally accepted the watch (dial is not perfect though) but the TD said to me that it will be risky to send it back to the factory after all these times.. So she's testing the movement for another 3 o 4 days and then - thank God- it will be shipped. Last ZF for sure.

Three ZF's in family all flying without hassle, the key is to take these babies straight away to the watchsmith for another inspection and I can give you a word you will be satisfied owner for months to come.
The key is to have such a card in your sleeve like rep-friendly watchsmith. I'm blessed to have one in London. Second year BP5009 PP and 3777-06 PP flying like a champ no problems whatsoever. Maybe strap but it shouldn't be mentioned here since it's just a "place holder"for decent strap.

interesting to hear @vcente28 that you refused so many watches from ZF. I remember very well beeing almost banished from the forum for refusing 3 watches in a row because of QC issues being called out by our "known" passive aggressive toxic users for destroying the hobby and the dark market industry... good old times here...

hope you will receive your watch soon and you'll be satisfied by wearing it for months and hopefully years to come.

I agree. I view the additional cost of my watchsmith as the cost of buying reps. Much less stress than returning the watch to China.

Oh wow never noticed it that ZF was that poor at QC. My 5007 v3 ran absolutely perfect with no flaws or problems at all. MarvellousReplica also picks the best one he sees :)

Sadly I have to agree ZF's assembly quality is probably the worst of all makers. Lucky me, I have a rep friendly watch smith handy so at least cleaning, oiling and repair can be properly done.
