Maybe if you're 2 inches from the watch with a gen next to it. I mean, it's a rep. The pearl is a tell, too, but neither of these are as glaringly obvious as the lack of black hole, which can be seen from 10 feet.

I'm looking at the list of "Super Reps" in the post, and regardless of petty details I see no reason to exclude the 114060 from the list - and I think it at least deserves to be put in the "under consideration" section. Like I mentioned, the Yachtmaster is there. The 114060 is a much better overall rep than the Yachtmaster.

I agree. The no cyclops crystal is basically gen spec. The insert isn't glaringly different from gen....even side by side with gen, the difference in colour could be down to gen variation [emoji5][emoji5]. Most normal gen owners could not prove yours is not a gen variation insert.

I agree. The no cyclops crystal is basically gen spec. The insert isn't glaringly different from gen....even side by side with gen, the difference in colour could be down to gen variation [emoji5][emoji5]. Most normal gen owners could not prove yours is not a gen variation insert.

If you feel strongly about it you can always ask @Omagad to add it to discussion. But I'm sure many members will tell you that the insert is a straight tell even without a gen beside it. Under medium or low light the rep insert is very much more dull.

I agree....the insert is not good enough to class the SUb-c ND as super-rep but I didn't say this was a super rep.

Instead, i feel that the overall feel/look/lustre makes this watch NWBIG (for me).

Also, The AP diver V7 Tachy lume application, date magnification/font is nowhere near gen yet it is classed as NWBIG. So by comparison, the ND sub is also NWBIG.

I appreciate that the term NEBIG is subjective.

There is a lot of information on the forums regarding JF AP diver v7 date font vs gen date font. That is why modders are offering Mikey DW mod.

ProfS offers cyclops with high magnification. Stock rep cyclops has low magnification ... search comparison threads by slaughterer. Once you've tried high magnification cyclops with Micky DW, you will not go back to stock rep.

Diver tachy Lume is not crisp. They're basically all like this. Some worse than others. Easy to spot as rep in the hands.

Very easy to spot diver rep IMO but I agree it's NWBIG. Ain't no way I'd pay gen money for this!!

Aside from the insert, which can hardly be noticed unless it's directly brought up. I think the glaring mistake is the dial's print. It's a "no date" Sub, but the dial says "oyster perpetual date". That's the biggest tell, to me, not the bezel.

Aside from the insert, which can hardly be noticed unless it's directly brought up. I think the glaring mistake is the dial's print. It's a "no date" Sub, but the dial says "oyster perpetual date". That's the biggest tell, to me, not the bezel.

This is a Noob V7 A2836 and it does not say "oyster perpetual date"

Aside from the darker colour of the bezel insert the SELs of the V7 hold it back from being NWBIG. Of course there might be some good ones as well but the three V7s I've seen so far in real and the one I have had a very bad SEL..
