By the way, I think the new Noob Rolex Datejust 41 126333 can potentially be an excellent rep (but not a super rep - the crown is different to gen)
But this information needs to be confirmed and verified by someone with a gen and rep
- Same crown/stem/tube height from member pics
- Uses decorated 2836-2 movement, which is accurate for a Rolex this time because the hands move CCW, just like the new Rolex 3235 movement

it's not a super rep
but as a watch (not a rep) the build quality is so so good,the panda 44mm and ceramic 44mm never cease to amaze me !
Yeah. It's a very special limited edition tho, so keep in mind that people who know Panerai will know it's probably a rep.
(we're talking about the 411, 415, 416 and 417 of course, the others are not super reps)
The guy wanted advice for a cheap but nearly identical to gen quality watch. That watch i recommended isn't a super rep in my opinion (because the dial colour is slightly off), but for the price, it is unbeatable value for a rep that is very identical to gen.
I am not a panerai expert either, I just wanted to give the guy a suggestion

Edit: The back is a big tell if your an expert. One of the main point I pick up is, the owner sold of his gen and keeping the rep. Safe to say it belongs to the NWBIG list. Just maybe not super rep. First class?

The back is a big tell if you are my dog!. It is too fat as well. Not a super rep by a very long way IMO.
I agree with you. While I'm not sure if it's NWBIG, I know it's no super rep. Minor size differences don't usually bug me, but this one is a big difference.
I agree that it is NWBIG, unfortunately IMO the 15400 is NWB in Rep either. Buy a closed back AP diver, JF, that is at least correct.

The diver is dull and pretty boring.
The 15400 rep is an amazing rep. High quality, good looks, absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend buying the rep! Agree it's not a super-rep tho but that doesn't make it NWBIR

Sorry, I know people say they shouldn't post when drinking, my problem is the reverse, when i posted that i needed a drink and hadn't had one
The front of the watch looks great I agree, and the finish looks great. But i couldn't live with that silly movement which looks all wrong and to me is all the worse for trying with all the superfluous deco.
If they made it closed back and put a thin enough movement a 2892 at 3.4mm or a Miyota 9015 at 3.8mm should enable them to make it the right thickness.
I know the diver is boring but it is bang on correct.

There was someone trying to popularize that term, super rep on wrist. I don't know if it was you, but I like it.
Not me, I personally know this guy and after seeing what he did, I just got a silver one myself [emoji16] on m2m sale a couple of days ago.
