Aside from the darker colour of the bezel insert the SELs of the V7 hold it back from being NWBIG. Of course there might be some good ones as well but the three V7s I've seen so far in real and the one I have had a very bad SEL..

I think that the SELs shouldnt be an KO issue aslong there are superreps with different case sizes than gen

here is the bezel insert on my recent Noob V7 116619B
The color is not as dark and can see a decent sliver metalic hue -vs many of the grey shallow darker Noob V7 C inserts. The sel's are not bad either, imho

this watch looks pretty good tbh but the photos where taken in good light conditions as far as i can tell. the colour of the bezel insert is only bad in low light conditions. I just wanted to take a photo of my v7 sub c nd but it's hard to take a photo where it shows how dark the bezel insert looks in low light.

in fact AP Diver SS is not worth buying in gen (at that cost furthermore..) but it's no way near super rep status. Movement and dw are instant tells. Instant.

The picture we taken on bed in bedroom with 2 lamps on either side of bed. Not really a great light source imo. I do agree with your statement that is difficult in low light. My point was with the sel seemed pretty decent. Compared to some of the Noob V7 LN's I've seen on here, this insert didn't seem as dark.

Well closed back removes the movement tell, unless you want to count ticks per sec .

Wouldn't the GF Breitling Avenger Blackbird also be considered a super rep? Me having bought one recently. I think it is pretty close to the gen.

The obvious Blackbird GF tell is the hands and hour markers should be the same color, the hands are to light of a grey, and the hour markers are black like the dial instead of dark grey so I'd say it's not a super rep. The second hand could possibly be to orange instead of red.
