A gen blue is almost always 3-5K more than the other colors, so that a dial is twice the price is no wonder. As for the gen movement, I was not aware that these were easy to come by. I have found a lot of movements, but it's always the 2120 so no date.

Hello Tosoboso, thanks for your info. I have the origina movement, the original black dial and I can buy a set of original hands. I just eanted to know if this would fit in any of the cases of the reps. As I have that sitting on a box, i was thinking of making a franken, but I dont know if it's possible.

A few people have fitted a gen dial to a JF watch but I don't know whether gen movement or gen bracelet will fit.

Even if they gen bracelet did fit, the end-link connection may not look 100% right in terms of fit and finish (might require some modification to lugs and or endlinks).

Good luck

+1 - I still haven't decided against trying to fit a 3120 in a JF case (with an AP dial of course) but what mech500 is saying is absolutely valid - the AP bracelet end links are definately not a straight swap with JF's ones. It might even be that the crown will not be a straight fit as Slaughterer62 pointed out a few weeks ago. So many unknowns...

Sorry I have to chip in here. I put a JF gold theme bracelet on a gen AP gold theme without any gaps or modifications needed.
Can't speak for the 15400 but I had the same experience with a JF bracelet and a GEN black themes (all black).

I can see that the added thickness is in the case back and not the mid case. Very interesting.

hello guys,
I currently own a 15400 blue dial TF, and I have recently made an AR treatment in some local lab., result is great, despite a very noticeable hint of blue, AR is compared to my UN Noob factory, and to some Omega PO having already an excellent AR from factory.
I will shortly receive also 15400 white and black dial, JF this time..let's see if any AR is needed..

I bought JF 15400 RG with black leather strap around 7-8 month ago. It has Miyota 9015.
I have never worn it outside because rotor was too noisy. It's so noisy with lousy cheap spinning sound.
Maybe it was bad luck. However, I saw some people in this forum with the same issue.

Is it still noisy with V2 white dial one?

On the other hand, V7 Driver with 2824 movement I have is perfect.

Are you sure? I think one of the reasons for so many 'dumb' questions being asked is the terrible search option. It just doesn't work very well. If I search for "silence rotor" this thread is displayed among others.
