Shouldn't you be able to tell whether you're getting the pimple dial or not right from the QC pics? Honest question, just wondering.

But why the hell they use this date wheel on blue dial. I seriously think JF is doing that on purpose.

Very nice, minute markers are not great but align is superb! One of the best ive seen so far. Lucky you!

Thanks for the compliment. The RO makes a nice counterpoint to my black bezelled divers and the textured blue dial is stunning - it genuinely changes hue depending on ambient lighting.

I wish JF had included a 1.5 link as I can't quite get a perfect fit on the wrist. Personally I'd expect some micro adjustability if I was forking out £12K+ for a stainless steel sports watch!

My rotor was annoyingly noisy so I used the Seiko technique and applied a small amount of silicon grease to the bearings. It's much better now, but I have to be a bit careful with the power reserve as it struggles to self wind on my winder.

Its good value for money and a better buy than the 44mm's ROOs in my opinion. Only flaw is the colour and tappiserie is far fetched compared to gen. I have the same watch as you in blue dial, but my 12, and 3 o clock is a fraction of a micro milimeter off, plus my AP logo has some scratches on the surface and minute marker not as great as yours. So you're very lucky indeed!

Speaking of the inaccuracy of the blue dial, dont worry too much about it either because you'll barely meet anyone with the same watch.

I'm currently waiting and hoping the factories will make an improvement over the colour and dial so I can just buy a replacement part. But for now, its a far cry away.

It's hard to tell how far they are sticking out from a head on angle. But it would drive me crazy.

I think it's new gray dial, is that correct?
Squares are sharp and minute markers are nice and crisp.
It looks great!
