Why do people insist on spreading bad information? Did you really even look anything up. Locolouie thins the case and silences the rotor. He does not regulate the movement, He also does not grease the seals for WR.
Where did you possibly get that the Gen is 9mm thick? Did you even look at the AP website? Spreading bad information on here is NO GOOD!

I never said he forces you to accept the case thinning, rather I wondered how the heck he was able to do this, and keep the integrity of the watch case appearance.

Louie does a LOT of nice little touches if one chooses & I bet your AP is outstanding...why don’t you share the case “improvement” meaning your take on his work. I came here for the appreciation of a fantastic watch in REP or GEN guise, not to argue.

He does the case thinning and silences the rotor. He does not regulate the movement or waterproof it. I am sure he will do the movement for a fee. The Gen is 9.8mm thick.
Why am I so opposed to general states that are wrong. You may just be saying these as "generalizations" but will happen as these will get repeated as absolute facts and they are wrong.
Same thing happened with the JF 16610, then everyone swore the movement came serviced already and that was what made the JF SOOOO much better than the rest. It NEVER came with a serviced movement. In fact now you see everyone bitching about the SH movement breaking (especially on the other models) and how dirty it is inside. But go back and read earlier posts how everything was arguing about it.

This could pass as gen except if you turn it over and they get to see the movement through the display caseback!! Anyway on the wrist it's identical to gen!

The tapseries is more "pimple" the printing is better and the blue is dark blue not light blue as the V2.
