I can explain.
Its not them. Its the (in this case) bracelet supplier. When you order 5k units, you cant just change, you have tonise all the ordered parts.
And they wanna make money, they arent watchnerda like us primary. Fixing such issues are just a way to more customers, so why build a ultimate rep at v1? Would be really dumb for making money;)
You're probably right. Maybe I'm just different because if a V4 or V5 comes out and it's slightly better than the V3, I wouldn't replace the watch just for that. I don't see a big difference between V2 and V3 either, but I'm not an expert. But let there be no such mistake that we write a word together or separately :) What I also don't understand is that everyone said the number 6 in the rehaut was wrong, but in the attached picture of the genuine and the clean version, you can see that the 6s are different, yet they say this is the correct number.

This is true. I don't personally mind the bracelet errors. I don't see it when the clasp is folded. My recent V3 clasps have a gap but I don't care.

The other "rumored" side to this is that no rep will ever be perfect because if you do make a 1:1 rep, you will be cracked down upon. They're trying to make a watch that is a replica you can wear but not too perfect because if it's truly 1:1 then you can also commit fraud easily with them....

The rep market just releases with flaws, and let modders take the rest if you want a full 1:1 experience.

Which is why stuff like the 5712 has the wrong moonphase color. And Clean's rehaut has the wrong font. It's very minor minor stuff that is never noticeable on wrist, but careful inspection will reveal it.

^ This

I have an ARF Hulk that is modded. If I posted pics no one would know it's 6 years old. Chasing the newest version is buying into marketing. If there are legit significant changes like the Insert , then I'm on board. A TC or WM9 sub from a decade ago it still on point.

Nah mate, a watchmaker, or even a watch dealer (grey market) easy can tell from feeling and looking whats a rep. Even a TC.
In fact you can franken like you want, but when for example the case, or some movement parts, or engravings, arent gen, its a easy tell for a watchmaker.

You must understand that this is a job that is well educated and working in a world under a microscope.

Of course. I should disclose that it's "on the wrist". My watch maker says the same having worked on both.

It's when people ask why if Clean can nail 95% of the aesthetic details, why they chose not to get stuff like the font correct, or why PPF can clone a whole A240 movement but then refuse to change the color of moonphase from blue to grey

Then does the above picture, meaning the gen, contain the correct "6" number? Regardless of whether I look at the y2l3 or l6v6 series, they all have the wrong 6. Perhaps it will be correct in v4 or v5, but based on the comments, they mess up something else in those. I bought a Tag Heuer watch and didn't find such a significant error there; in fact, the watchmaker said it's fine, at most a few seconds off. The only thing he checked was the stones, but with Rolex, they won't bother to ensure it's truly good.

The v3s is somewhere between v3 and v2 … slightly lighter than v3 and slightly darker than v2 color of the bezel
I have seen a video just a minute ago. The guy explains exactly what u say. + the uv-check is better on v3s bc the whole bezel turns bright red. But for me that is bs im not walking nor someone else with a uv tester around😂

Both are great. Oyster will always be more stable due to less metal parts. But the jubilee is very well done and solid.

Oyster=sportier
Jubilee=dressier

Choose yourself.

The last rolex rep I had was a Noob V10 Submariner and I felt that the bracelet was hollow and tinny and very low quality, have things progressed since then would you say?
