iirc in the 6 digits it's the entire bezel that's plat, so plating is really the only option.

Hi everyon,

I want to make a super Franken with CF base.
las personal preference I would like to take change the VS3235 movement from my VSF SUB41 126610LN with this CF 126622 VR3235 movemen.

does anyone know these movements are interchangeable and a direct swap?

and does anyone know gen 3135 hands wil fit on the vs3235 movement?

thanks in advance
I’m also currently in the process of doing this exact build mate…
Clean ym base, Gen 126622 Blue Dial & Gen 126622 Hands
Then going to swap to the vs3235 movement out of my VSF SUB41 into the YM
Any update on your Build/Swap or Advice?
I’m sending all parts to my watchmaker next week.

What is with the movement, can it be replaced with a real ETA ? Therefore i prefered the A2824. I dont have so much trust in this movement

Whether you buy a watch with a Rolex clone movement or ETA clone movement, the advantage is you can always buy a new movement on the cheap once the movement needs to be serviced.

This is true. Getting a new movement is cheaper than having it service.
Always have a few of VR3135, VR3185 even VR3235 in the drawer to play safe.
Soon or later the VS versions should be availableb too.
Whether these clones have the engravings or not doesn't really matter for closed backs on Rolexes, unless you wanna fool people up and pass them as gens.

Hello guys, I'm new here so I hope that I'm not breaking any rules by posting this.

I recently received my CF Yacht - Master and was totally blown away with how good it looked. Unfortunately the watch stopped working the same day so I had to send it to a watch maker for service. He was also supposed to change the crystal for a deep xtal. He didn't manage to remove the retainer ring and was unable to change it. I decided to buy the xtal anyway and try myself, but I have the same problem.

Have any of you been able to remove the crystal on these for your franken project?

Maybe if I remove the movement an try to press the crystal off from the inside?

I replaced mine using a vsf xtal you need the single edge razor and hammer to pry the ring open once you get a small opening you can use watchmaker knife

That new rep of the Yachtmaster looks really good. From the pictures I can't really tell a difference between them. But still I'm not really a fan of the Rolex Yachtmaster.
