when i get the rep YM i will do a comparison with a gen whitegold bezel rolex datejust, its not the same i know, but can see quality differences/similarities

The Yachtmaster used to have a different crown guard, more like the old BP Yachtmaster. The strap connector to the case was also longer.

For a week now mine and I am really impressed, one of the nicest watches OOTB I own, really nice finish, won’t go with the toprep mod after I saw the comparison here. Besindes the datewheel not so much to be unhappy with ( as long as u don’t care about case back teeth 
)

If you really insist, you can go for a gen bezel insert mod, or even perhaps the gen sapphire, and you are done with a super rep
