The VR movement is known for winding a little rough - has a sandy/gritty winding action.

Dang…what an amazing watch. The contrast between the dial and the bezel make it look so much bigger than it is, but still has a refined finishing that you don’t see in other sports watches. A very nice choice for sure!!

My Yachtmaster from Clean has arrived. The processing is absolute top class. Date centered. high end The Rolex bracelet is also absolutely top class. All qualitatively comparable to the Daytona from BTV vs. Gen in the video. Clean Factory did a very good job there.

I'm impressed by the dial's sunburst. This is the first time that I'm seeing a rep dial with sunburst that doesn't have the laser beam issue that usually is such a tell.

My Clean YM arrived on Friday and it will arrive at TomRep tomorrow. I ordered another Clean YM yesterday and will do a comparison between these two (CF YM Tomrep and the CF YM)

Sorry mate, but @08_strides_tattles posted that he gave this the GL and is stoked on it, why mention this now after he's given it the GL? All this does is bum someone out over their watch!

Thanks @Roughwatch. It's ok @blackmark. I am aware of the date print being slightly off. I think it's a bad batch because looking at the QC pics from r/reptimeqc, many others also have a date that's slightly tilted. It's mostly centered in the date window and that's really the only thing I truly care about. No one, aside from us, are scrutinizing our rep watches like this. My friends who have seen them are so wow'd by the entire thing that they don't really notice small things like DW. I'll probably switch out the xtal to a gen xtal and call it a day.

Hell no. Clean is shady af compared the JF and Noob. I wouldn't put Clean on the same level as JF and Noob.

Does anyone know which gen xtal get for a swap for the CF YM? is it the same as the GMT-II?

@centrum Clean is significantly better than JF or NOOB on his Yachtmaster! The bezel and crown protection alone are right compared to the Gen!
