Very happy with this one! - It’s nearly identical to my Gen 126622. I will upload some comparison shots soon.

Oh wow! It looks great, indeed!

You mind sharing, top of your mind, which were the main points you identified when running your side-by-side comparison with gen at home?

So the rhodium dial is good. What's the consensus on the blue?

I watched the comparion video a few pages back comparing a gen and CF SS grey dial watches. Wow, this is a very good rep! One thing that sticks out to me that has gone unmentioned, the bezel mechanism. Do you see how easily the guy keeps turning the bezel on the rep?

I don't have a YM here to check, but I have a gen Pepsi and I believe the bezel mechanism is the same. It is possible, but you can't easily turn the bezel with the same hand while holding the watch like he does.

I'd be interested to hear what @J22hrp has to say about comparing bezel mechs with gen?

That aside, this is going to be an expensive month - I feel that I need to buy this YM and a Platona too, both look NWBIG to me..!

I'd be more interested in a comparison with other factories. Earlier in the thread the EWF was mentioned as being really good, so my question is, where are the 200 bucks difference? Anyone got both in his hands?

Two comparisons with EWF but I have no idea what they're saying. One big difference is quality of movement

I've had almost every variant of this watch and used to own the 16622 long ago. I've handled the gen many times at the local boutique and am still on the waiting list so it's a watch that I'm heavily invested in. Here are my thoughts about all flaws I noticed and why the Clean looks like the best one so far.

EWF: Great bezel and bracelet, but blue writing on the dial is too dark and the crown guards are off. Movement is crap and a timebomb.
GMF: Dial is great and the crown guards are better, but the bezel is crap and the bracelet isn't the best. Newer version has the VR movement instead of the SA3135. I reviewed this watch on this forum if you want to see pictures.
ARF: Great bezel but the writing on the dial is too dark. Same as the EWF, hour markers are too small as well but I think this is an optical illusion due to the shine from the material as they look good in pictures. Bracelet is fantastic.
Noob: I had the ETA version and the dial was great, but the same problem as most of them regarding the blue writing being too dark. Crown guards are off and the bezel, although good, clicks more like a sub than a gen yacht-master which is a soft click.
CSF: Good dial if you get one with the hour markers straight. Crown guards yet again off but the bracelet is good. The movement is the same as Clean but the bezel isn't as good. If they corrected their insert then it would be a close second to the Clean.

I held on to my Noob and CSF but recently flipped them to justify buying the Clean version. This looks amazing and there's some things that are better than other versions.

- Blue writing on the dial is 100% from the looks of things. How the other factories never corrected this is beyond me.
- Crown guards and case look identical.
- VR3235 movement on a 126622 dial (EWF had this the wrong way).
- Bezel looks great, might benefit from a Tom Rep blasting but I'll determine that when mine arrives.

This looks like the holy grail of this watch, so much so that I've removed my signature requesting someone to sell me the 3135 version of the Noob. I think this will have NWBIG status once it gets on enough members wrists. The comparison video on YouTube near the end in normal light shows how accurate it is.

Don't forget that the case shape and finishing on the ARF is really, really bad.
