Questioning us what dial to choose is a matter of taste, gen crystal will fit either one.

Which dial do you like, black or white?

In this light conditions it looks really good! Also the dial doesn’t look too shiny

This photo is made without any direct reflection of the sun on the dial, natural ouside light from windows (no artificial room lights 💡 )

Guys I have a real 116520 with black dial from 2008 and a Clean v2 with white dial for comparison:

I noticed the following:
- Size of the subdial rings and position, chrome look wrong
- Quality of the hands on the Clean slightly worse
- Bezel engraving not too deep on the Clean and dot incorrectly positioned at 150
- Case engravings slightly different
- Light transmission seems to be worse on the glass of the clean
- Edges of the bezel of the clean straight and not round

What did I miss?

I saw a sale thread were user polished the v3 bezel and that improved rounded style and engravings similar to gen…maybe it is enough without swapping to a xing’ one

I am tempted to take one black V3…someone know or can check if they corrected the serial engraving between lugs with correct 116520 code?

Do you have a photo of the watch from the thread you’re referring to? I did the same thing to my V3 bezel and it wasn’t a noticeable difference

Here the post, @domiffm can explain how do you polished bezel?

I do it in two phases:
1. Put a piece of Cape Cod on the polishing bit of a Dremel and attach it with a rubber band. Then go for about 5 minutes at high speed with the Dremel and the Cape Cop evenly over the bezel surface with a bit of pressure.

2. Finish with a cotton wheel on the lathe machine, medium speed. I use the white Bergeon paste as a polishing agent. Then clean well.

You have to use the machines, just doing it by hand won't get the job done.

My clean 116520 came with 116500 engraved, no issue for me really, who's going to look there anyways? I don't need to fool anyone but me 😂
