After a long wait, mine has arrived in my city and been delivered to the wrong address. I've been on to the company amd have to wait for a 2 business day turn around. I actually spoke to the delivery driver who tells me he delivered it to a delivery box which doesn't exist at my apartment building...
I'm going to continue to pursue it after the easter break but I'm worried it may be gone.

Yesterday I finally bit the bullet after being unable to grab one for sale here M2M and placed an order for a CF Batgirl. I received QC picture today within 24hrs of placing my order. Looks great to me. I have given the GL and should be on the way to me soon. Can’t wait to have it in hand. Here are some QC pics for your viewing pleasure.
I managed to find it - the driver put it into a parcel locker with mail for another resident.
It looks great, but I've noticed something which has kind of thrown me off a bit. The QC Pics I got featured a crown engraved on the crystal at the 6 o'clock position, but the watch I received does not have that at all. Has anyone else experienced this? I purchased through a TD who I have gone with before and had no issues.
I have to say, it's not a massive deal breaker or anything, but I'm surprised.
You likely just missed it. Try to find it again under different lighting conditions and angles, I'm sure you'll find it

I think this is the move for me in the future and start a Frank project.
Quick question for anyone who knows - my CF batgirl is misbehaving. When i unwind the crown and pull it out to position 1 and set the hour hand it is then 'fiddly' to pull it out to position 2 to change the minute hand. You have to sort of fiddle with it for it to allow you to pull it out. TBH its always been doing this it just didnt annoy me until now. Is it something that a watch maker could fix or is there likely something wrong with the movement? Thanks
My TD is lightning fast on my order for my CF Batgirl. QC day after order is placed and I have tracking on day 2. Fastest TD I have worked with to date.

Doing a light fraken build (Gen DW/xtal/bezel spring) like this build that was just posted on reddit using a CF as a base (https://www.reddit.com/r/RepTime/comments/ugucdy/franken_batgirl_126710blnr/). In the thread the builder mentioned he polished the Rehaut so it isn't as matte as it comes from the CF factory and has a bit more sheen like Gen? Anyone attempted this or know how they would go about it?
Quick pass over with a cape cod cloth? I wouldn't think you want to go very abrasive or hard at it at all? I did ask on reddit but never received any response.

One of the ways is a very mild brush of Cape Cod. Alternative is to use the dremel hard wool polishing wheel but not with any wax added

The TD actually opened up the watch and gave you a movement QC pic?

How do the clean batmans compare to VSF subs in terms of gen feel? They look great. Ive owned a few reps but nothing was as good as the VSF.

There is nothing you can do. If you are not happy with it just ask for another QC

Little U1 vs CF comparison ...
This is why CF is always trash out the box crystal wise. Don’t know how they haven’t caught up to VSF
