Is Clean factory what some TD's (Puretime) are now calling VRF? I can't seem to find any recent CF versions on Puretime's site?

And how is the bezel platinum painting? Noob paint was always horrible in lowlight and over time it would just keep fading away. Has that ever been fixed by other makers?

Nope, Clean = CF, VRF is a different factory

So I recieved the CF batman today and in short, I'm disappointed.

My fear was confirmed, the bracelet doesn't feel quality to me and I should have gone Oyster rather than Jubilee. Not sure if this is what the gen also feels like but if if does I won't be buying. The bracelet also squeeks when moving off the wrist, anyone else noticed this? I think I seen somewhere bathing in baby oil or something!? Either way, my advice to anyone getting this, go with the oyster.

The other problem I have is, it only just fits my wrist, so for those with slightly larger wrists, check first.

Even though I just got this, I may sell on and try a Daytona or Sub, either that or buy a Daytona and order a new Oyster bracelet at the same time lol.

The rest looks, feels and works great.

All my rep bracelets were squeeky out of the box, do the babyoil fix and it is complete different feeling.

I got the CF Batman with oyster, the CF Pepsi with jubilee and the Gen Batman with jubilee. After babyoil bath there is no difference on the wrist-feeling to Gen jubilee.

Thanks. Just stick the strap in a bowl of babyoil, or is there specific instructions.

I have a Gen Deep Sea SD and after wearing that the Batman feels like a cracker toy ????.

Do you need to do decreasing with alcohol after the oil bath? If not, wouldn't the bracelet be pretty greasy to wear?

I just wrap mine up in paper-towels and then leave it in the window for 2-3 days and it dries out. Use mineral oil, opposed to babyoil. They're the same thing but babyoil is scented... so if you don't want to smell like a baby... haha

So with the jubilee bracelet does the gen also feel like it has quite sharp edges when running your finger across the bracelet? I expected the edges to be machined off slightly to make it feel a little smoother. I'll need to try a Gen on in the store to feel if there's a difference.

Having received one recently - they are excellent reps. I would 1000% recommend that anyone strips out the crystal and orders a prof or gen in replacement. Make sure you know your model number as the crystal sizes differ! It's been an expensive mistake for me!

There is no such thing as V2, V4, V whatsoever for the gen crystals

You need the B25-295-CAR-C1, the ones with V2, V3 or V4 in between CAR-...-C1 are officially Datejust or Yacht Master crystals but as far as i know they're the same crystals, all 1.8mm thick but with different gaskets in the blister
