Too bad that inside it seems to have the sh3285 movement, the dd3285 of clean is of another category in comparison, it makes the difference!

THIS!!! The quality difference between the DD3285 and the SH3285 is day and night. The SH3285 has a weak setting lever -- I've seen too many of them break within months of people getting them to trust that movement.

Until we see another factory get the curvature of the bezel numbers correct, I don't think there will be any compelling reason not to go with the Clean Exp 2.

So for any factory in China that can make an explorer 2 bezel with numbers that are aligned using "Envelope Distort" rather than "Text on path" in a CAD/CAM package, you'll have a heap of orders from people who want to buy the watch for its bezel.

I have to admit I quite like this watch on an oysterflex. I couldn’t make the 22mm floating SELs work, but just running it raw dog with a SEL gap works for me.

Really not my piece of cake on OF - but esch his own i wear it on steel bracelet and i went thru easy over 100 reps.

It is one out of 2 who remained in my collection, really love this watch.

There is nothing for me worth changeing on this watch. I am not as nitpicking as i was years ago, but i really think for everyday wearing what you get for the buck, its a hell of a watch!

I’ve thought above changing the crystal to a deep crystal but haven’t done so yet. I don’t own many white dial reps, so I’m not used to the effect of crystdd as l over white dial — I think sometimes I mistake the white of the dial for fogginess of the crystal. But then I check myself and realize it’s actually just my greasy finger prints on the crystal because this watch is my daily beater these days.

I have doubt with qc video of results of timegrapher. It shows an amplitude of 252. Would you accept this watch?
I must add that when I receive a watch I always take it to a trusted watchmaker for a complete inspection and maintenance. Can the amplitude be improved after being reviewed?

Yesterday's timegrapher results offered a lower altitude and I asked them to wind the watch and send me a new video. The altitude has improved a little but has lost precision.

As I replied to you via DM (not sure why you DM’d if you were also going to post here). Ask what the lift angle was set to. It should be 55 or 58, not 52. Setting the lift angle on the timegrapher too low will make the timegrapher calculate an amplitude that is slightly lower than it is in reality. Regardless, an amplitude if 240-250 is healthy for a dd3285.

To add, since 32.. movemebt afaik have lowrr amp than 31.. movements; my GENUINE 3235 has dial up 245 FULL wound.
