I say enjoy it with the stock crustal for a while. It is much improved over the so-so 11 crystal. But like @Bobi01 said, if you change it only for gen crystal.Do you recommend I use the clean glass or do I have to put gen in it?
I agree. Why spend the money on what could be marginal improvement.I say enjoy it with the stock crustal for a while. It is much improved over the so-so 11 crystal. But like @Bobi01 said, if you change it only for gen crystal.
It is exactly the same with me the new ine comes in and I am already looking for anoter one. The problem is that when ordering a new one I always say to myself that I will sell one, but never do… when I start thinking which ine should I sell I can’t decideYou will never stop... the same thing happens to me, I say this and that's it! and when it arrives I'm already looking for another one! hahaha
I was asking myself the same question. Is the rep Crystal just that close to the gen?I agree. Why spend the money on what could be marginal improvement.
So if you were to remove the crystal you would press the crystal out from the underside by removing the movement? This wouldn't be like removing a 116500 then? Thank you.Pressed in
Great question. I’m curious too. Far as I know, previous ceramic and metal bezels were pressed together with the crystal onto the case? Maybe our @KJ2020 can say..Maybe a dumb question, but what is the bezel construction like. Is the metal ring a part of the insert? Or is the metal ring fused to the case and the insert is pressed into the opening of the metal ring?
I used to green light Daytona's that had crooked bezel since I knew I could easily align them myself. These new ones....I'm not so sure about.Great question. I’m curious too. Id also like to know if the ceramic insert is pressed or glued in, and how the gen is constructed. Im sure our crafty modders will dissect one soon.
