Don't be. The 12 is barely 1mm bigger and still feels like a 39mm. It still wears smaller than a GMT, I’m guessing because of the slimmer lugs. Excellent vid below covers both

I decided to go with the zf 116500. I checked the comparison pictures of a gen 126500 to the clean version, there is still room for improvement. I will probably wait for more versions to come out before buying one.

The 11 and 12 cases are completely different. This is explained in detail in the opening post here.

Despite what Rolex has always claimed, the 11 steel case only measured 38.5. The new 12 series is slightly longer and wider but still only measures 39 mm from 2 to 8:00

Thanks for the clarification! To me lug to lug length matters more than the width.

1 mm doesn’t sound like much, but on a small watch it matters. It just has little more presence. The 11 always seemed dwarfed beside 40mm SUB, GMT..

I love when the polished outer counter rings sparkle, like the 5 digit white and black dials. It’s something the 11 and 12 Panda dials don't have.
