I ordered a new strap last night. One thing I've always hated about these is adjusting the length. Who the hell came up with this design ???

icard:Sorry, somehow I missed your question. I was looking and decided to try one of the leather w/ gator pattern straps from the bay. When I contacted the seller he said if I didn't like the quality he would provide a refund INCLUDING the return shipping. Figured I had nothing to loose. If the watch starts to get a lot of wrist time I may go for a gator strap later.
My thumbs tip are still sore from trying to work the strap into the deployant 2 days ago. What a PITA!

Most of the available straps are on the bay ranging in the $40 area, just search "Santos cartier straps" I found mine by searching "Santos Toile"

That's the one! Tracking shows it shipped but no update since it left the sort facility yesterday. I can post pics and opinion once it arrives if you like.
I bought the exact same model from a RWI member who probably figured the strap was too much of a PITA to keep. Still it's a sweet deal. Don't bother threading the crappy strap through the tiny gap. Just slip it between the 2 metal grips and fold. It won't drop and you won't even notice the difference when you wear it.
It looks fabulous on my skinny 6" wrist but it's definitely smaller than the real thing.

Quick update - The strap I received has QC issues with the end link hole spacing. I have contacted the seller. Hopefully he will fix the issue.

-Looked NICE for a minute. Nice size.
-Missing 4 screws. 1 of the lugs, 3 screws/pins on the clasp
-Went to adjust time and gently pulled on the crown OFF IT CAME
Strap is also CRAP but expected, no big deal so definitely need to buy another if considering. Crown jewel looks darker in qc pics (like real Santos) but actually very light. Also the entire clasp/buckle feels like it's about to just fall to pieces any second... scary lol.
So far not a good experience on my first buy from Toro. Emailed Toro about all issues... waiting on response.

Uh oh......What a bummer...hope it works out for you in the end and he looks after you....I am waiting on a Santos too from him...the Ultimate....keeping fingers crossed...
Wow, from what you describe it sound like the one you received was barely held together. I am confident Toro will take care of you. He has always done right by me.
I think that depends on where you are located. Mine took 6 days to arrive in the CONUS once I received my tracking number.
