Once of the case markings is still wrong... but kudos to them for getting the hands correct!
Saw this dial on WeChat this morning with a comment from the person posting that this would be the dial used in the CF platinum daytona.
Agreed. Much more blue and less ice/white. Also, if CF is using a buff dial, then the markers will be moissanite instead of cubic zirconia. Moissanite has a much higher refractive index (2.6 to 3.0) vs. diamond (2.4) and CZ (2.2), so moissanite will sparkle more. But moissanites have birefringence (fancy word for a refractive index that changes with direction), which causes moissanites to split light and form rainbow patterns, whereas real diamonds just sparkle light instead of splitting it. Given the choice I'd take Moissanite markers of CZ markers.Right off the bat the colour looks closer to gen than on the BTF baguette hour marker dial, thanks for posting mate!
Thanks for sharing man.Saw this dial on WeChat this morning with a comment from the person posting that this would be the dial used in the CF platinum daytona.
Yup... I haul down my flag. Clearly, I'm not translating the Chinese properly LOL.Thanks for sharing man.
Just a friendly add-up since I think we are seeing the same dealer, what he said in Chinese is "CF will not be making platinum daytona version, the better solution is install Buff dial on BTF", not that "CF will be using buff dial". I don't think there was any history that a factory will use Buff parts, they are hugely different in terms of production quantity.
Anyway, I can't wait too so I already ordered iteven if CF is out they are not likely to beat Buff quality this time. This is my ideal dial and finally dream comes true.
I didn’t ask… but my guess is not less than $500. For my money, I’m still holding on until BTF fixes the engraving errors on the case.So cf isn't making a plat Daytona, so get a btf and a buff dial?
How much is that dial in the video from buff?
WowHo visto questo quadrante su WeChat questa mattina con un commento della persona che ha pubblicato che questo sarebbe il quadrante utilizzato nel daytona platino CF.
You'd be better off waiting.I didn’t ask… but my guess is not less than $500. For my money, I’m still holding on until BTF fixes the engraving errors on the case.
Even I got discounted it's $350, the porblem here is, you want good hand made stuff? You need to pay the premium. I know there are some Chinese professional making real good RM Samurai or Astronaut, and the price is 100 times crazier than just $500. You don't like it? don't buy it, but shitting on the price won't do anything, someone else with better purchasing power will always buy them. You'd be better off waiting.
Not sure who your dealer is but $500 for a buff dial is rip off when the baguettes are mossanite.
I'm not shitting on the price. I'm stating the fact for what it is. The asking price of $500 USD for that dial is absurd markup to me, and also I replied to @dogwood(Not you, busy body) who said that for his money's worth he'd wait for a BTF upgrade.Even I got discounted it's $350, the porblem here is, you want good hand made stuff? The rules here is not the buyer to judge how "worthy" the price of the product you want, but how much you are willing to pay to get what you want. Given this buff dial is one of kind for now, and not likely to be bettered within few years, I am totally fine with my price, even it's $500 I will pay.

Chill buddy what's up with all the temper? I didn't say anything bad about you.I'm not shitting on the price. I'm stating the fact for what it is. If you have a better purchasing power by all means go ahead and buy it, it's your money and you do what you want with it. Heck even if you'd wanna burn your money as incense, please do.
Throwing in "hand made" and "one of a kind" to justify the high, overly charged prices for it makes you happy then go ahead, don't come out with this self entitled mentality when we're having a good open discussion on the said watches here.
Considering you said that c+ just released their GMTs yesterday in another thread that I was in, I have no idea why I bothered to even took time to reply you.
