BTF platinum Daytona

Hey all,
I took delivery (today) of one of the early BTF and it has in deed got the incorrect STD Daytona hands...
Replacement hands are being supplied and I will have those fitted later
Further note: case has 750 on it but also has PT950 and on the braclet has 950PT
Correct crown, pushes look good, end links maybe a bit small...
All in all its a pretty good rep.. hope this helps

Congrats mate, looks to be from the same batch as mine!

I am waiting on some correct NOOB hands arriving which I bought via m2m recently, then all will be good. Really good watch and overall quality is on par with Clean in my opinion!

Wondering how might about the built quality and overal feel vs the "classic" noob version?
Anyone has experince with both pieces?
Considering to order a btf dial but hesitating on the expected release of CF

I have not owned the Noob version of the Platona but I do however have several other Noob Daytonas (116503, 116500 and 116519) and I would say the build quality is at least on par!

With the correct hands I personally feel this is the best overall version of the Daytona released to date although I do think Clean will respond with a contender too, if you are not in a rush to acquire one wait for Cleans version and re-evaluate would be my advice

Just a friendly add-up since I think we are seeing the same dealer, what he said in Chinese is "CF will not be making platinum daytona version, the better solution is install Buff dial on BTF", not that "CF will be using buff dial". I don't think there was any history that a factory will use Buff parts, they are hugely different in terms of production quantity.

Anyway, I can't wait too so I already ordered iteven if CF is out they are not likely to beat Buff quality this time. This is my ideal dial and finally dream comes true.

Thanks for sharing, you have source confirmed it too?
I've also checked from many rep or gen seller that the BTF marker in caseback is actually correct, just different version in gen.
So anyone can get a perfect Platinum Daytona with BTF base+ Buff dial.

The problem with the case isn’t the PT950 vs 950PT thing; although technically Pt950 would be correct. The problem is that there’s a double circle 750 mark in another corner of the caseback which should be a Diamond 950 symbol.

But honestly if someone is inspecting the caseback markings, they won’t need to see them to know the case isn’t platinum, the weight would have told them that long before.

I agree, it is impossible to the get the correct gen weight without spending insane amount of money and I am not planning too, besides it is also difficult to justify wearing this model without a Lambo or Ferrari. I am just gonna straightly admit it's a fun rep watch I bought because I really like the dial, if anyone ever asked lol.

I heard and know exactly the opposite, CF IS making one, its in process, expected very soon but only with the "classic" dial (non baguette).

I took that Buff dealers word for it, but I double checked with Li since he is close with CF.

He said: "Yes, but not sure when it will be released yet."

So yes it is coming after-all, correct.

Definetely bought BTF one with diamond dial….Li told me that CF doesn t make this version but only the standard one…and he doesn t know when…so , if you like diamonds , this is the best and only choice.

when qc’s arrive i ll post them to compare
