BTF 126500 LN Daytona with DD4131 Movement!

Yes it's great. No issue. I am sourcing a Clean dial to replace and once it's replaced it might be the best combo black dial 126500 out there.

Awesome. So do Clean and BTF use the same bracelets on their 126500? If not, is one considered superior, clearly Clean has the better dial.

I don't have Clean 126x in hand but the bracelet on the BTF is fine. Feels like my Clean 116x bracelet.

With regards to your question it's personal choice. For me I think Clean is better aesthetically but if you're willing to mod and swap BT is the better base.

Imho then do VSF with the SL4802 movement. Reliable and cheaper. Plus you have the 116500 black dial anyways, it'll justify it more for the cheaper cost. Shitty crown and wobbly pushers but whatever.

Thanks mate. I like the 116500 black dial, but my bezel insert needs a steel ring around the outside. So I'll likely offload the 11, but I need to see the 12 on my wrist first, and my local AD doesn't have a display model in stock ATM.

Yep, I could always put a better movement in the VSF later, which is highly likely due to the noisy, free-spinning rotor in one direction, but I'd still have a shitty crown and wobbly pushers. The crown would likely be taken care of if I swapped the movement and stem, but . . .

This is part of the dilemma I keep looping back to. Back to where I was. LOL.

It should fit just fine. Both thhe dd4131 and sh4131 have the same key dimensions.

I have had the btf black dial for a couple weeks and clean panda for a few months.

I can’t tell the difference between the DD4131 and cleans SH4131. They both feel the same when winding and the same on the wrist( rotor movement and noise)
I thought it would be an instant tell between movements because the DD4130 and SH4130 feel very different. DD felt ALOT better

I own 2 btf Daytonas from the 116xxx series and the crystals are different comparing them to the 126xxx. Old gen is very clear (I think double ar coating) while the new gen can see more reflections.
In my opinion btfs stock crystal is fine and doesn’t need to be changed.

The subdials look thinner in real life vs looking at them in photos. It’s strange.. I even compared it right after taking this photo I’m guessing it has something to do with the phone changing the lighting vs what I can see irl?

Both bracelets feel exactly the same to me. I’ll report back as I wear them over time.

Would it be possible to take a picture of the bezel engravings on both models? I have a feeling that the BTF engravings are less recessed than Clean, making BTF bezel more gen like.

Would it be possible to take a picture of the bezel engravings on both models? I have a feeling that the BTF engravings are less recessed than Clean, making BTF bezel more gen like.

It doesn’t feel rough winding but the sound it makes is a bit louder than sh4131 which is weird
