BTF 126500 LN Daytona with DD4131 Movement!

I can’t change my mind about the sub dial rings. Too thick on both white and black dials.

Although I have no reason to doubt the SH4131 at this time, my choice would be Clean everything and DD4131 from BTF/VSF.

I think the best combination has to be BTF base + Clean or VS dial.

BTF has it's strengths, namely :

- Cost
- Movement
- Finishing
- Crystal
- Subdial color

But the dial is not at Clean's level in terms of gen look

I don't agree that the Clean bezel is better than the BTF. I think the BTF is better, it's "shallower" but remeber that Clean's engraving is too deep as well. BTF also looks to have the correct location of the bezel markings.

Thank you @Reaps . This means lot to me. I agree with you about the case, and especially bezel.

Gen has shallower text depth on the vesel. So far I thinl Bt got the best bezel

Loving the hour markers, the crown at 12 looks really good. The shallow engravings on the ceramic bezel seem very gen like

Update on the DD4131

Stable at 3s/day for the last 5 days. Not bad. No hiccups in resetting. The rotor is dead quiet no weird noises. Everything is crisp and smooth. Haven't tested PR but will do some time this week if I manage to get the damn thing off my wrist.

Strange that the black dial seems to far more popular across all the different factory threads. The white dial seemed to be all the rage on the 116500. Can’t be just down to the polished edges of the sub dials…

I find the subdials look too thin overall on the white, but on the black it isn't as noticable. I think the silver subdials on a black dial are also complemented by the stainless band around the bezel.

A very clever design change. Minor change with a big effect.

I am not able to make out the difference between the CF and BT dials from pics.

However I am super happy with the BT 11.
The dial is good enough for my failing eyes and noone is going to get at 5cm of my wrist with a loupe

For the bezel, I rubbed some hydrogen peroxide, rince then so alcohol on the markers. This lighted the grey a bit. Now it looks super crisp.

Yes it's great. No issue. I am sourcing a Clean dial to replace and once it's replaced it might be the best combo black dial 126500 out there.
