Mine is sitting at the postal sorting facility, 20 minutes from me, but I'm not allowed to collect it. I have to wait three more days til they deliver it. Faaaaarrrk!

I really quite enjoy it. It's my "weekend" watch when I go out with friends and want to wear something a little more lowkey.Mine is sitting at the postal sorting facility, 20 minutes from me, but I'm not allowed to collect it. I have to wait three more days til they deliver it. Faaaaarrrk!
Black BT looking good indeed. I think the bezel engravings are closer to gen than Clean, VS.
Better than Stock Clean. For sure. But worse than Deep and in my opinion also worse than the 116x BT crystal.Black BT looking good indeed. I think the bezel engravings are closer to gen than Clean, VS.
How’s the BT crystal?
As we know all too well, they can't provide us with all the goods, or no one would need to keep buying. Two steps forward, one step back -- that's the game we take part in. And it is a fun game.Better than Stock Clean. For sure. But worse than Deep and in my opinion also worse than the 116x BT crystal.
There is no fogginess to the crystal but the glare can get quite strong.
I plan to replace with Deep when I get time to source the Clean dial also.
Didn't expect daytona to be low key. Don't you think the reflective subdial ring pop out more than the white dial version?I really quite enjoy it. It's my "weekend" watch when I go out with friends and want to wear something a little more lowkey.
The DD4131, mine is very strong at +4s/day after a month of wear.
I enjoy the new bezel the most on the Daytona. I wish it had the old case shape but yeah.
PR seems to be around 60-65hr total based on what I can see, not bad, probably will be better if I get it serviced.
I think the white stands out more. I own the old Panda and the white is very bold for a watch. Black just looks like any other watch.Didn't expect daytona to be low key. Don't you think the reflective subdial ring pop out more than the white dial version?
Sorry to hear, hope it gets resolvedMy watch arrived yesterday. It looks fantastic, but unfortunately the movement is DOA.
I've reached out to the TD. He has replied and am awaiting instructions.
Sorr. I’m sure you wound it, of course. Did you try tapping it on your palm to get it going? My watch arrived yesterday. It looks fantastic, but unfortunately the movement is DOA.

Edit: here's a pic of it, anyway, in case anyone wants to see another. The right sub dial is not thinner than the others, it just looks that way here.
Thanks mate.Sorr. I’m sure you wound it, of course. Did you try tapping it on your palm to get it going?
Also try starting the chrono…this sometimes get the movement going
Sucks to hear.Thanks mate.
The watch runs sometimes and then not.
Cannot go from time setting position to winding position. Have to force screw the crown in, but the stem won't engage positions, and it's doesn't feel like a keyless issue. Feels like a stem malfunction. Plus, the chrono button makes a loud "ding" sound every time it's released after pressing. The metal spring I expect. It sounds like the Apple message tone.
TD has been excellent and the return process is underway. He will send me a new replacement.
Yes definetlySucks to hear.
I've heard more issues about this DD4131 than the SH4131 at this point....
Concerning to me, as any significant work on Daytona movements currently means shipping the watch over the pond to a watchmaker willing to work with me that way, and the customs risks involved. I did buy Daytonas knowing that risk existed, but so far it's been 2-2 dodgy movements: a 4130 and now a 4131. Hopefully the third time is lucky.Sucks to hear.

My VSF with DD4131 also failed on me. The only fix is to swap in a DD4130.My watch arrived yesterday. It looks fantastic, but unfortunately the movement is DOA.

I doubt you're in the same boat but worth a shot - my CF DD3285 Pepsi arrived with a borderline inoperable crown. Had to fight to get the thing screw in/out or into/out of any position. It was like this when I received it and I thought it was shot. I took an electric toothbrush with an old head to the crown threads as a hail mary and it cleared things right up. Have to clean the threads every now and then so I bet the movement needs a service but it keeps her ticking. Thanks mate.

Cheers. And glad to hear it.For me I got a perfect DD4131 and I can't complain. +4s/day after 1 month of settling in.
No issue with chrono running.
I do baby my watches and I don't do anything with high shock/sports with a rep on.
I know you're in Australia, and you say you don't have a watch maker, but I heard tongsui is a pretty good reliable guy? You can try him next time to alleviate your fears.Cheers. And glad to hear it.
Sam's here, re impact stuff. Excluding international shipping, if course.
