Results of aging in chlorine solution:

This picture was taken some time after and the spaces between hour markers have been somewhat polished by normal wearing.

That is a strong look. Awesome. Where did you get the chlorine solution?

I saw some pool chlorine solution at the supermarket... probably that stuff, right?

Regular swimming pool chlorine powder mixed in water with a little salt added. I let it soak about 2 hrs and it came out dark like the area around the hour markers. After wearing it a few days, the darker areas started to polish off from rubbing against my shirts. I tried different techniques of aging and this is the one I found looked most natural. LOS turned the watch dark brown instantly and it wiped off quickly ... I may have used too much LOS though.

The straps I ordered in early September from antique leather straps finally arrived after almost 7 weeks. I’d almost given up. They are certainly very nice quality for the price. Love the blue and I think he particularly nailed the green. I’ll be buying again from him, but with faster shipping! [emoji1]

No the Hour hand just stresses me out, I really love the Black Bay except for that hand.
lol, me too. I still bought it and don't regret the purchase at all. It's my daily beater and I get all kinds of compliments on it.

That being said, I want a Pam bronzo of some sort, haha. I'm sure somewhere in this thread will convince me of which one to buy :)
