ok DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME

but empirically a tiny amount of autosol on non coated xtals makes them quite shiny.

I still dont understand what you are trying to say.
You said before that autosol can give the xtal a rnrprof's 2xAR look, is that true?

But, by being 'shiny' , isnt the xtal became more un-AR look ?

This week I got a surprising Discovery... I have boutght a 382 at M2M area and I have already in my collection a V6F (seagull inside which I bought some months ago), the VSF runs and it is almost in new condition but surprisingly after removing with lemon & soda the patima from both watches I have found that the VSF is clearly pinker tan my old KW which has a Golden finish (more nice IMO).

Has anybody see this difference in color?? Do you want me to upload some pics of both watches?

IS the 382 water resistant right out of the box from a TD? A lot of the patina techniques seem to include seem to involve immersion of the watch in liquid?

I would not recommend that. I'd recommend sending to a modder to do a pressure test first. But that's just me. I'm sure others will chime in

I really need to go bronzo next. Beautiful watches.

Anyone making a nice bronze buckle or am I gonna have to cast one myself?

I simply used a bit of O-ring grease, or silicone grease, on the gaskets before I started swimming or bathing the watch. However, the first time I gave it the full immersion I fully removed the the movement from the case. I have had no problems with the water resistance. I go swimming often with the watch, but I would probably not take it scuba diving.

Definitely safer to take it to a pro who can give the case a pressure test.

Hey guys, I’m deciding between which to get for my first bronzo - I’m considering either the Tudor Black Bay Bucherer, or the Panerai 382.

I think I like the Panerai better, but I have a 6.3-6.4 inch wrist, so I’m not sure if I could pull off a 47mm watch.

Do other guys with skinnier wrists have the PAM382?
