Mine was tested at 4bar and passed ...good enough for pool and ocean swimming.

If you're going to the Marianas Trench get it tested ;)

If you're going to the Marianas Trench, you would not need to have to, as the pressure inside the submarine you should be riding at those depths would be normalized. Besides, the PAM382 is only rated to 300m, it's under by around 10,600m. :lmao:

My watch finally arrived via 28 days on a slow EMS Boat. I got out my Peek, covered the watch with Peek, let is rest for a while, washed it off, applied the wax.
Thanks for all the help in this thread.

Congratulations!
I think you've done perfectly with the peek for not rubbing the watch, just let it rest so you don't mess with the brushing.
Let us know if the wax is doing it's job!

Congratulations mate for your new piece

So you covered the watch with peek you didn't rub it this a new technique will be registered under your name at the thread [emoji3]

Did you apply a big amount of wax on your watch ? Or ......

Keep us posted with results of the wax sealing and how long it will prevent the patina from developing

Ps. Check the mark at minute 30 Did the color come out or this is due light condition

The color problem on the 30 minute mark is only due to my photo skills. I may have to subcontract my photos to @evilpenguin.
I applied the Peek with a cotton swab as if i was frosting a cake. The wax was applied with a cotton swab as well using the same approach as waxing a car.
I will take photos the next time I clean and wax the watch.

This Pam 671 watch is hot property at the moment in my collection. Its getting more wrist time than my Carbotech 616. I'm going the opposite direction and letting mine get the aged/patina look to prove that it can rock a beach pirate look as good as the 382.[emoji6]

Alright fella,
I know what you mean,my 671 is all I'm wearing at the moment,
I've never worn a watch as often in all the time I've collected them,
I'm following the same path as you,I'm letting the patina build up,I've gone 360' from wanting & loving the clean/fresh look
I guess that makes me & you closet pirates!!

I think it suits the piece perfectly
