Can't wait to see what my brown canvas gunny is going look to like on it but with it being handmade it's a 30 day turnaround time on it.

Sounds cool bro, post the pics when you get it,
I bought a super soft leather strap for mine but it's too dark, the guy reckoned it was dark brown but it's way too dark for my liking,
So I've ordered another one, actually from that mush you put me on to from eBay,he was waiting for the leather for the gunny style so he's done me another one for now, should be here shortly,
So as you where saying......yes we do like to experiment with our bronzos....ha ha

Here's mine after 19 days purchase. Not worn much though only 4 times since purchase. Done a little age distressing to the rep strap myself with fine grade wire wool to give it a more vintage look. Might try a little waxing of on the strap to bring the colour back out! [emoji6]

Thanks for the info! I've ordered a blue aged canvas but in the meantime the rep strap looks much better after the treatment. The distressed look goes much better with the patina look of the 671 :)

It's not a bad strap at all really once broken in. A lot of people just flip them aside and buy a aftermarket strap and don't give them a chance to wear in and soften up.

Will do,hopefully here in a couple of days,

Just disassembled my 382, took the hands to a local jeweller to rose-gold plate them, then i´ll relume with superluminova c3, i´m not sure but i believe the lume from VSF is a little tiny bit to dark green, i think the genuine lume is more green-whiteish. now i have to wait a week again :(
before i experimented a little with vinegar essence and eggs to speed up patination but i came to the conclusion that normal aging is best. maybe liver of sulfr. but i don´t have it here.

I'd like to take mine to swim in river where I am, but I'm not sure will watch handle it. Anyone tried submersing these submersibles ? :)

Was that a pam671 & if so where did you buy it?
If I had the tools to remove the movement then I'd test mine too

No a 382 - i did not remove the movement. Pressurized it and put it under water and let out air. Made the tester myself

How much did that cost for you to make up? There a similar aluminum Chinese one on eBay for around £130 that does up to 6 bar.

Mine was tested at 4bar and passed ...good enough for pool and ocean swimming.

If you're going to the Marianas Trench get it tested ;)
