still, this is one of the best looking patinas i have seen in weeks of research on the bronzo! how does it look now mate?This goes better and better (VSF):
Looks almost the same since every time it gets patina I am cleaning it a bit using special cloth for cleaning gold jewelry...

Looks like it with the dark halos around the bezel markers. It's sort of like managed patina.

I ordered my 671 from puretime and have been going back and forth with QC. They sent me pictures of fingerprints in the bronze. My question is, is this common and does anyone know if it is permanent. I said I disapprove and they sent it anyway. Not real happy with puretime at the moment.Attachments
Thats natural buddy with the bronze and the oils from your hands that causes that and what gives it a patina when it oxidises mate. That's the whole fun of bronze let it go as dark as you like then if you fancy a change, clean that bad boy back up to a bright shine and have a totally different look. This is mine after just a week>

I'm ok with the oxidation, that's what I'm looking forward to actually. I think we had a lot lost in translation. I just don't want the fingerprints on there and was worried it was permanent. Can I wipe them off or clean it with ketchup then it goes back to normal?

I think I prefer em patinated better mate. Gives em abit more character. I've smelly egged my Steiny Bronzo again as I didn't like the yellower/brassy tone in how the Steinhart looks as new!

I love the clean/bright look on mine but I'm growing fonder of mine the more patina it grows,
The watch is bronze & definitely shouldn't look gold BUT I'm undecided which I love the most,
Only time will tell as it goes darker ,once it gets to where I'm totally happy then I will try & seal it again
