Bronzo watch thread

I love the clean/bright look on mine but I'm growing fonder of mine the more patina it grows,
The watch is bronze & definitely shouldn't look gold BUT I'm undecided which I love the most,
Only time will tell as it goes darker ,once it gets to where I'm totally happy then I will try & seal it again

I'd have probably kept it shiny a little longer if it wasn't so yellow when new. I'm happy how the smelly egg patina went! [emoji23]

It's a balance & a learning curve to try & get it shiny without looking too gold

Do you guys refer to you using a boiled egg to make the watch develop patina or you mean something else

I heard that method will make the watch develop dark brown patina instantly

Dis anyone tried this method ?????

Yep that's right mate. It's the method of a boiled egg and the watch together in a sealed bag when you break the egg and the yolk releases sulphur to Patina the watch pretty quickly.

Here's mine after 19 days purchase. Not worn much though only 4 times since purchase. Done a little age distressing to the rep strap myself with fine grade wire wool to give it a more vintage look. Might try a little waxing of on the strap to bring the colour back out! [emoji6]
