Any difference to the noob?

Edit: I found the noob mega-tapissery less defined than the JF. Is it correct or just my eyes tricking me?

I absolutely love that AP! I will probably never buy that though, since I have broken the case on every ceramic watch I've owned by bumping into stuff.

I had an idea, but I can't test it because I don't have the watch: what if the ceramic parts are beadblasted? Do you think we can get a more gen-like appearance of the white ceramic parts?

I know the out-of-the-box linear grain finish of the case and bezel will be lost, but then maybe one can redo the linear graining with a coarser grit prior to beadblasting. This coarser finish would take longer to disappear under abrasion, and some linear grain would remain after the blasting is done.

What do you think?

Sounds like a great idea! But I doubt someone will be brave enough to test it...

Bumping - maybe someone have a ceramic case with faulty movement, or someone don't like this white beauty enough so he'll donate her for some testing of beadblasting!

If anyone would like to catch-and-release one of these white ceramic watches, I would gladly buy it and then make some experiments with media blasting.

Very nice, thx for sharing ;) Now I gotta decide between this or the white cer Diver.
I'm pretty sure I read that the diver still has those case issues. Pretty sure this was updates after the diver, which included a case update, while the diver still has the "frozen jizz" look to it.

Take what I say with a grain of salt though, I only vaguely recall it. The second I find out that the diver case has been fixed, I'll own one.

If this ever does end up successful, you'll be hearing from me :)
