I don't think you will find a rep with a functional HE valve.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong on this.
Most reps aren't even waterproof enough to use in the shower, so imagine going deepsea diving with it.
The SSD has a correctly oriented and seemingly working HEV that IS water proof. There was some test about how water proof the SD was a few year back. I have not read about actual helium testing it in a hyperbaric chamber, but at least the valve opens the right way and keeps the water out.
got mine +3 sec a day according to the time grapher. was going to get the clone movement, but decided to be a cheapie and went with 21 jewel.
My TC bracelet came today. I got a replacement O-ring for the case back.
Now I just need a movement, crown, tube, hands...
Thanks for this guys. Great idea!
...Anyone want to buy my BPSD and TC bracelet? opcorn:
Kohr, your picture shows a good example of the darker color of the BP hands against the dial.
Yes, it sure does. I'm glad I have the tc dial & hands to install, hopefully tomorrow.
I just installed the TC bracelet. As others have stated one side might fit in, the other will require filing down a tad.
What do you guys use to oil your bracelets?
