I`ve ordered the BP 16600 with the asian 2813 high beat too :)

Does the gen crown, dial, hands fit without a problem?

The Gen crown will not fit the stock BP tube, you require an Otto tube or TC tube, a RE-Tap of the case to a 0.3 pitch thread. The dial, some peoples needed work (mine) and others have fit straight away no problems. Hands I've seen people say they fit so if someone can chime in with first hand experience and confirm?? I've only fit them to an A2836

I assume the BP movement has a DWO, so I wanted to hear your thoughts on swapping the DWO from the dead movement onto my incoming one. Is this possible?

I have a Tissot ETA movement in the works. I'm concerned about the upcoming DW swap, this will be my 1st time doing one, so being able to just swap the overlay itself would be a huge advantage and relief.

Few questions :)
To change the crown i would need TC tube and crown?
Will the gen insert fit without the problem or does it need shaving?
What is the best dial to swap in that is not gen? I think gen would need a lot of mod to fit in!

It can be difficult to remove without damage...... it really depends on how secure it is on the dw it's being removed from......

Hi guys, I received a BP SD with an Asian 2836-2 and the first time I pulled the crown out to set the date and time it snapped right out all the way.
I then opened the case back and noticed that the stem release "button" is missing.
I figured I might as well send it to a modder and get a TC dial and hands put on while its there.
I have contacted Domi two weeks ago when I got the watch as I also have an AP ROO that I want modded but never got an answer.
Do you guys have any suggestions for another good modder in EU?

Thanks a lot

Doud

So the keyless is stuffed... Same with one of mine that's sitting there waiting for me to get motivated... Will need a reset of the keyless, not sure how much a modder/smith will charge, maybe shoot some PM's around to modders.. Not sure about EU only stateside modders so hopefully someone can chime in and help..

Does the watch run?

Crown yes, TC crown and tube or Gen crown and tube etc... Stock BP tube sucks balls.

Gen insert not sure Q5 might be able to help with that one I think his SD has a gen insert and mine hasn't turned up to Katts workshop yet :)

Best dial other than Gen so far I believe is the TC dial, along with TC hands which the hands part is a MUST.

IF your dial (stock BP) is good with aligned markers and DW don't change it! Just do a simple hands swap.

Yes it does run fine if i shake it, its so annoying I never even got to wear it! I wont only do the reset of the keyless.
I will also ask the modder to change the dial and hands for the TC, service the movement and lube all the seals etc...
Hopefully one of them is not too busy!

I've modded 2 of these watches so far.

1 gen insert fit fine and the other needed slight shaveing.
Both fit TC dial and hands no problem
Both needed slight sanding to get the TC bracelet to fit.

What movements did they have?
A2836 or ETA2836, right?

Yup
Rudy had a highbeat 21j and he said the hands fit but I'm guessing the dial feet didn't lined up. Also, I think he needed to shave his insert as well but might be mistaken.

Certainly the keyless, and I would offer to help as I am also in EU, but what is worrying is that you say the stem release button is missing?

Drop me a pm my friend, and maybe we can discuss its further instead of thread crapping ;)

I once managed to press the stem release so hard it popped in.
Took off the top plate and reset the keyless. Not a biggie, unless it has dw overlay, which makes reinstallation of dw near impossible for my limited skills.
Button being gone doesn't sound too worrying imo

I tried putting my tc hands on my tc dial. The hour marker and minute hand rubbed, and now there's a fine scratch on the dial. I can't get the second hand on, it's proving too difficult for my eyes. I give up.

Anyone have advice who to send it to in the USA? I don't wanna mess it up anymore.
