As i just told Pippo by pm here is my possible simple solution to a rather complex problem.

Bp crystal housing has an inside diameter of 30-30.5mm while the stock bp gasket is 0.5mm thick.

I'll make a custom (teflon maybe) gasket tommorow that is 30mm im diam (outside diam) and 1.5mm thick at a local shop speciallised in making all sorts of custom seals and gaskets for hidraulics etc.

This way i'll maybe be able to press the gen crystal without any problem.

The WR wouldn't be that good but ot should still allow amateur diving i guess.

If the gasket proves too thick for the current crystal hausing depth then the case needs to be modded.

if this helps, the intended gasket will not hold the Xtal in the case, if you mod the case to fit the Xtal, the Xtal will be too low to the bezel

the lume plots seem to be corrected, looks great! 168 for the eta clone movement'?

A2813 movement. I opened it up to adjust the time as it was running about 30 seconds a day slow. Pretty solid movement! I gave the rotor a drop of oil and have it regulated to -2 seconds a day. Greased the seals and the watch is solid.

Thanks for your input Adrian.
Why do you think the gasket won't hold the xtal ? And why would the gen xtal sit too low. The bp xtal is 3mm tall. The gen is 2.5 right ? Is that the reason ?

Another question i had was, what's your opinion on the 3135 case vs the 2824 one. I noticed the 3135 case has incorrect crownguards but the crown height looks to be right, while 2824 has correct looking cgs but the crown sits lower than it should.

What about the rehaut ? On the 3135 it seems to be taller than on the gen watch.

Would appreciate your thoughts on this !

Hi guys! Today my SD from Sead finally arrive, here is a pic:

Just joking...can't resist to do that! XD XD :hehehe:

Anyway...

The watch feels very good so far. I like it very much! Even the bracelet don't seems to be so worse like I read in this thread. The only problem that I've found is in the piece of the bracelet that close on diver's extension. The closing mechanism does not work well because the recess on the bracelet is as it is worn out, I will try to contact Sead and look for a solution.

This is my first ever buying experience in replica from a TD and I'm super satisfied with Sead that is a very nice guy!

Here are two "serious" pics:

Is that a 2824? The crown guards look on point.

Is there a "recommended" replacement click spring to replace the factory one?
