I didn't like the engravings of the serial number and markings, but that is hidden by the band.

I don't know if a SD is the same as a sub but a 3135 can't go in the 2836 case (if it is the same as the sub)
Sorry I'll have to disagree with that. Ephry over at RWG and here was one of the first ones to fit a Yuki 3135 in a BPSD case, and the case he used was a 2836- 2 BPSD case. Later on I fitted a gen 3035 I'm this case myself..

So the modder that put my gen 3035 I'n my BPSD case said he had no problem fitting the movement and done very little to get it mounted. I have always heard the same tell as you have. But in this case its simply not so. Maybe @ado213 can tell use as how they can use a 2836 in a case that will also take Yuki or gen movement??

I guess we will see when Adrian gets the watch and takes it apart. I can't wait to see what he thinks. When I took the back off the case was Gen Spec as far as the cutout to out the movement in. But besides taking the bracelet off and the back off that is all I did. I have No experience with 5 digit Rolex's, I only have 6 digit ones.

Yes I love to know the out come as I'm curious about this case? :)

It might have something to do with the SD case being thicker then the Sub case

Maybe my friend? I just know it's possible from my experience with dealing with some of the older BPSD cases and doing Franken builds on them.

I have a newer BPSD that's getting some work now. And I ask the modder if the case had changed any as I have a fully serviced TC 2824- 2 With H4 Swiss parts
that has the correct stem height? And he said indeed he could mount the 2824 in there if I wanted to as the case seams to be same as the old ones.

But the case your talking about is different and is from another factory and already has a 3135 in it. I'm curious of the bezel construction and Rehaut construction? If it still needs the same mods as a BPSD case to change crystal bezel etc? Then there's no need in me buying it..lol
It does look good though :)

Unfortunately I had to part with my glidelock clasp since the buyer of my subc wanted it. Then I really struggled to size he TC bracelet after putting the TC clasp. The 5 links minimum. On the 6 o'clock side makes it way too long for skinny wrists. Plus I find the stamped flip clasp so clangy compared to glidelock. So for now I have it on a rep rubber B. It is quite comfy and looks decent.

Yes I love the rubber b. Especially in the summer time when you sweat alot and the metal bracelet is so uncomfortable ,,the rubber b is so much better. Many gen owners use them on five digit subs and Sd as well. Have you checked how far the diver exstintion is mounted in the clasp? Sometimes you can do some adjustments there as well?

My issue is with the 6 o'clock side, not the 12 side where the diver extension is. On the 6 side there is a stretch of 4 solid links and then the fifth link the attaches to the clasp. On Rolex forums they say a solid link can be removed by an AD or jeweller. But on RWI we do things ourself so I'm trying to figure that out.

That's a bit of a common problem. My tc lv bracelet has 4.5 links on the 6 o'clock side so the clasp sits perfectly. But my tc sd bracelet has 5 links, and therefore the clasp sits off center slightly on my wrist.

Exactly. And with smaller wrists the issue is even worse.

Thank You for posting your pictures. Yes I see the gap is not great but that apparently is what's available right now, I do have a spare BP SD bracelet that I will try, Unfortunately I don't have a spare TC sub or TC SD bracelet.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all.

Here they are. I've already accepted so feel free to tear it apart. The SEL and clasp don't look great . Rest looks fine to this rookie.

Yes , my wrist size is large enough that it's barely an issue. Any smaller and you have to remove the permanent link

The issue is stem heights and crown alignment with the case tube. A gen 3135 or for that matter a Yuki sit too low and the stem does not align in 2836/2824 case

After sorting that little lot out, your next problem is actually securing the movement, the clamp groove within the case now sits too low and you can't get movement tabs in the groove

There is a way round this, but it is a fairly major job.

Well hopefully the LF is good because it came with the SA3135. I have my fingers crossed

It should be fine. Now look at the LF and 2836 case pictures side by side. Take you eyes off the crown guards and tell me the difference between the two ??

Here are 2 pictures of the case with the bracelet off. They aren't the best pictures, but you can see the engravings are more of laser etched than actual engravings. I think they might be shallow enough to get rid of and redo them with real engravings.

BP SD comes from year with 2824, and never with 2836....

CG's are little updated from two years ago on eta case, but still need to shawed a bit beacuse still incorrect font.
