BP Seadweller.. Best SD available Period

Someone's getting a whole lot of watch for £750, i'm tempted myself.

I almost listed mine here last week, I bought a Gen Ceramic Sub thinking it would make my life feel complete but it didn't so I flipped it within 2 days.

I know now I will have a 16600 on my wrist, at the very least in rotation with others until the day I die.

Nice, I really love the 16600 as well. I was at my brothers today looking at watches and I held his rep 116610. I thought to myself it really is an odd looking watch with the chunky lugs and crown guards. I much prefer the 5 digit case

Yeah I also prefer the slim hands, smaller hour dots and absence of Cyclops.

The 16600 is the perfect dive watch for me.

Oh by the way, thats my fear, too! I'm thinking of going GEN with a Submariner all the time but I dont know if this would satisfy me the same way that my REPs do...

I have to say, I bought a couple of Gens. They are nice, but you just go put them on and they are like almost plain or something (hard to describe). For some reason I keep grabbing my 1 Franken and keep wearing that. Even though I don't do the work on the watch (my modder does everything on it- I have no watch skills) something is just better about building it yourself. Plus you don't mind having things done to them that you wouldn't on the Gen because of warranty purposes, like changing the hands for different ones, changing the bezel, etc. I could just be crazy or something.

All I will say is that I don't regret buying it as I now know that modded reps/ frankens give me equally, if not more pleasure than Gens and I only lost a couple of hundred $$$$.

The Gen was perfect but the Noob Sub with a Gen ETA and Gen Crystal is so close to me it's not worth the additional £5.5k

I also like having a collection of watches and I don't have the money to have a gen collection.

Thanks! No, it's still BP Factor stock finishing, that also amazed me!

I just never wore that watch before it's not finished

Hey guys! I love my BPSD just have a curiosity about this watch! Being a diver watch anyone tested it "out of the box" underwater?

So, I received my BPSD from chazingtime awhile before RWI was down. And lucky me, I ordered a TC SD bracelet before he stopped accepting orders, gave it a baby oil bath, sanded the sides of the SEL to get it to fit. Absolutely love the watch, great watch otb.

But, I've noticed that my lume plots are slightly uneven, they sorta have an indentation or it seem like I'm able to see some light shade of black in the middle of the lume plots, tho I have to look closely to notice it, but it's kinda bothering me now that I know it's there. Anyone else have this problem with their stock BPSD dial? And what's the best alternative aftermarket SD dial since TC isn't accepting orders anymore?

I think this is a common problem with the stock BP dial, not every dial has this but yours isn't the first.

I think it's just that the lume is uneven, maybe the texture wasn't quite right when it was applied.

The only better dial is the TC, but if that's no longer available you could look into sending it to a Modder to re-lume the dial?

I believe I have a spare BPSD dial as I swapped mine for a TC. I could have a look at it for you and if the lume looks good could post it to you although I UK based.

mine and many others was the same. Get a tc dial, or find a tc 16610 dial and use the markers, or have your dial relumed
