Does this affect the weight of the watch? Or is the smaller ETA with Spacer the same weight as say an ETA 2836?

I like this idea as a Franken 116610 I had built used a dial with its feet clipped and after a while it appeared the dial had slightly rotated.

No because the spacer is cut from solid brass or similar metal which is heavy and makes up for the lack of weight from the movement. Power reserve from the movement is about the same as a bigger eta and the holder is made to fit in the case without clamps.

Cool thanks for that always good to have another option, I always hated the idea of modding Gen Dials.

Yes, in the early days TC tried using the smaller ETA 2671 which is a 7,3/4 ligne movement, usually used in ladies watch's, beat rate is 28800 vph, power reserve approx 40 hours.

The movement spacer has to be recessed on the dial side to accommodate the DWO as it overlaps the movement

Just received my BPSD in the mail, and I have a couple of questions about the bracelet since this is my first time having a rolex on hand. Whenever I have it on my wrist and shake it a bit, the clasp seems to come loose and not maintain a "locked" position on my wrist, is this normal or is this something I can personally adjust back home.

EDIT: Spent a little bit more time looking at it and it seems like one of the end links is catching on the clasp, though I'm not sure if that would affect how it seems to "loosen up" every time I shake my wrist. Would appreciate any ideas on what to do for both of these problems!:(

TC emailed me less than two weeks ago and told me everything would return to normal in a couple months.

Did he tell you he was never going to sell parts again or that he could just not add parts to an existing order or sell parts now?

He offered to sell me a bunch of parts as per a previous request but just not now.

Since he is going to return I didnt feel the need to buy a bunch of parts since the TC line will continue and who knows maybe we will see a V8, V9 or other nice things.

Think about this though. We have seen as he runs out of old stock he does not replace it so perhaps the TC SD dial will be gone eventually.

Actually, now that I re-read the email, it looks like he's just not moving parts for now. He didn't mention anything about the future. Probably best not to assume anything I suppose.

Mine arrived from Lucy over the weekend! Such a great piece out of the box. Bracelet is not so good but I have plenty of straps. 20170421_120738.jpg

Better act quick!

Someone's getting a whole lot of watch for £750, i'm tempted myself.

I almost listed mine here last week, I bought a Gen Ceramic Sub thinking it would make my life feel complete but it didn't so I flipped it within 2 days.

I know now I will have a 16600 on my wrist, at the very least in rotation with others until the day I die.
