Just and FYI, I contacted TC last week about adding some SD parts to my order, but he said he will not be moving parts, unfortunately.

TC emailed me less than two weeks ago and told me everything would return to normal in a couple months.

Did he tell you he was never going to sell parts again or that he could just not add parts to an existing order or sell parts now?

He offered to sell me a bunch of parts as per a previous request but just not now.

Since he is going to return I didnt feel the need to buy a bunch of parts since the TC line will continue and who knows maybe we will see a V8, V9 or other nice things.

Think about this though. We have seen as he runs out of old stock he does not replace it so perhaps the TC SD dial will be gone eventually.

I stumbled across my BPSD while cleaning my watches inside of my watchbox.

I have just tried to fit my GEN 16600 Insert into the bezel ring but this didnt work as the insert seemed to be a hair thicker than the BP REP Insert.

So I sneaked into the bathroom like a ninja and "borrowed" the nailfile of my wife, sneaked back into my office room and started reworking the GEN Insert :)

TBH, I was really amazed of the feeling of the stock BPSD Insert. I still wonder, why there are so many crappy inserts for sale on eBay, when the chinese seem to have the knowledge and possibilities to create and machine such good inserts.

But it's still miles away from a GEN Insert, so I went that route.

Now it's snap fitted into the bezel ring and I applied four mini dots of super glue to the bezel insert and ring.

So now I just need to wait for the delivery of my TC Dial, Hands and Bracelet. The stock BPSD Bracelet is quite sh*t. On one side the SEL Link is very stiff and stuck to the right lug of the case. The bracelet itself is very stiff and not feeling like my TC V6 93250.

Swiss Movement is also waiting. As I didnt know exactly if I have a 2836 or a 2824, I bought and had serviced both of them to have them ready to be swapped in!

This is going to be awesome! [emoji4]

gen insert is much nicer! your's look great and will look even better with the tc parts. You likely have a 2824 in there, what you are going to want to use is the 2836

Yeah I think it is an A2824 because the date does not flip instantly, it flips like in 20-30 minutes.

I have both 2836 and 2824 ready for a swap in here, so lets see what makes the most sense.

To use an 2824 I guess I will need to have the H4 Mod done on the movement but that shouldnt be a problem.

No you absolutely want to use a 2836, not just for the date switch or the hand height . But also because it places the date closer to the back of the dial which will make it easier to center the date. With the 2824 they stick a spacer between the dwo and the datedisc to compensate for the gap.

I may be wrong on a few details here but I assure you the 2836 is the way to go

Ahh yeah, I remember reading about this in the thread.

2836 ftw! [emoji1]

I will have my GEN Tag Heuer Calibre 5 Movemen which is basically a Sellita SW220 / ETA2836 installed in my watch with a TC DWO :)

I guess thats the Gap between DWO and Dial that @Maron was talking about.

With watches that have an 2836 in them I dont have this big gap.

Is this a GEN Dial?[emoji28]

It sure looks pretty good to me, will it fit in our BPSD's. If I bought a real Dial I'd hate to cut the feet off of the Dial.

Lucy is shipping my BPSD this week

Instead of cutting the dial feet it's possible to use a small eta movement with a big movement spacer with the holes for the dial feet in the spacer so no cutting of feet needed

Does this affect the weight of the watch? Or is the smaller ETA with Spacer the same weight as say an ETA 2836?

I like this idea as a Franken 116610 I had built used a dial with its feet clipped and after a while it appeared the dial had slightly rotated.
