BP Seadweller.. Best SD available Period

Ok!

Thinking of getting a BP and change the insert for Gen, get a TC v3 handset and bracelet.

Eventually want to convert it to a mk1 with tritium dial, but will hold off for now as the development of the jf 3135 continues.

So do not want to mod it to much, just the essential parts.

Do lots of research before you decide what you'll do with the bpsd, not everything is straight forward.

The bp crown looks visually different from gen.

Yes, I will. For a transformation to mk1 it needs serious modding which I can't do myself. So in the meantime to be able to wear during sourcing the right parts, just the basic mods to do are;

- Gen Insert
- TC V3 hands
- TC bracelet

TC also has a insert for the 16600, anybody fitted one of those?

He might not have aa tc 16600 insert, last I spoke to him he diesnt have the crystals anymore.

You won't be able to add tc v3 hands without changing the movenent or modifying the clone movement

Only difference between the 2813 and 2824 version is the movement right?

You really need to go through this thread page by page, Yes I know 300 pages is long but consider it a very short book all the answers you need are here.

Good luck finding that tritium dial good ones are very rare.

OMG are you insane.
Yuki 3135 from Ticklshoes serviced complete $385. Nobody is going to see the JF engravings so why pay more for their watch which you are going to bin for the Yuki movement then pay more to have the movement serviced anyway?

Here is a quote from a friend on JF "those JF yachtmasters suck a bag of dicks. Sloppy bezel, date window on the dial isn't correctly placed, crystal has bubbles in the glue. Basically it's not worth rebuilding." So thats a new JF YM with Yuki 3135 I'm impressed. JF is the future builder of the TC Killer LMFAO!

Those Sea Dweller dials are rare, but only option I guess cause regarding rep dials options aren't there.

The TC Dial is very good if you want just Swiss Made if you want a T 25 dial then Genuine, I think a flat four and Lug holes go together but plenty of lug holes have pointy fours as replacements. If your doing the Case mod for Gen crystal I would really think hard on the crystal choice. If you do the Yuki 3135 then you have to go genuine hands or I guess you could take the hands and yuki from a JF 16610 LN. TC hands are for ETA you need Rolex spec hands to fit Yuki. Its a bitch and one hell of a process. We are here to help as much as we can but sometimes @Maron gets kind of Cranky so watch out!!! :devil_2:

Look here for reference material click on an individual watch to see description. You will see pointy 4s on lug holes and luminova hands on tritium dials thats the work of a Rolex service center and people who dont understand how important it is to stay period correct.

Just realised that the HE valve is ti coloured and to be period correct for mk1 it needs to be polished.

Thats right but I think it can be polished out, it might just be a coating.

Here is mine from last June 2016 with a Adrian @ado213 gen crystal mod, WSO crystal, Gen insert, TC V4 DWO, Gen crown on WSO tube, TC dial, hands and bracelet with a fully serviced by Adrian gen swiss ETA 2836 H4 and a little Adrian case work.
