You'll definitely want a tc bracelet. Make sure to get the v3 ln hands. If you are changing the crown and tube you'll need either gen or tc.

Keep in mind you probably won't be able to use the tc hands on the bp a2824 without modification or changing the movement entirely.

Cost depends on what you end up doing.

TC Hands should fit just fine on stock BP movement.

Adrian told me different. He said the tc hands won't fit on my a2824 and that I had to change the movenent. I think it depends if your bp comes with a 2836 or 2824 and did it have normal hands or long tube hands

I plan use a leather strap but would the bracelet that comes on the TC LV 7 extreme sub also work on the BP SD?
Keep in mind that the extreme bracelet may fit perfectly snug on your 16610 but the sel may be slightly too wide or narrow for the bpsd. I mean you may not be able to switch it back in forth.

Certainly you can buy a v6 bracelet and sand it to fit the bpsd exclusively.

So you are saying if its too wide then I would have to sand it and then it would be too narrow for my TC?

I will more than likely always use a 20mm Nato or leather strap on this one. I shouldnt have any problem with those right? Should I purchase a specific size spring bar for the nato or leather or can I use the one from the bpsd bracelet?

Also could someone shoot me a ballpark as to what it would cost to have this sent to a modder like the one you mentioned to have hands, dial, crown & tube installed? CONUS.

I am waiting to see it in person as to whether I want to mod or not... If this one looks good OTB I may just leave as is and use the money for the TC V7.

Sorry buddy but TC hands set V3 doesn't fit on stock 2824 BP movement. To fit need to replace hands set wheel.

That's true your're modder told you correctly that TC hands not fit on Bp stock movement, but you really doesn't need to replace the movement, but just hands set wheels with H4.

Suorce: mine experience, my modder tell me that he can't fit TC hands on stock movement, he need to replace all hands wheel, and then fit without problems. Mine actually has TC V3 hands set on BP 2824 serviced movement :)

Most likely you won't have to sand. I have 2 SD here and both are 20.00 between the lug. TCs old bracelets and SD bracelets are between 20.10-20.20. However his new ones are 20.00 exact! I have 2 of his newest 16610 bracelet here and they both fit both of my SD cases!

So this is only for v3? Because I installed TC v2 hands on stock BP movement no issues.

In general it doesnt matter, if you have a real 2824 in it your BP Hands have longer tubes. To fit TC Hands with normal size tubes you need to do a H4 mod.

How long ago was that perhaps yours really did have a 2836, I believe once upon a time they came with 2836 then BP switched to the 2824 and a spacer behind the dial.

I would recommend you to buy thinner springbars although the thick gen spec 2mm springbars will work with a natostrap. It's very very tight and it was hard to pull the strap through the gap between SB and case. With 1,8mm or 1,5mm its just fine and you can adjust the watch while it's on your wrist.

A build like yours should be around 450usd.

EDIT:
@ALL who wants to drop a yuki in their BPSD
We know that the yuki does not come with the rolex engraving and we would need gen hands. Do you guys think it is a good option to buy a JF 16610 when it's released to get the engraved sh3135 with the gen spec hands? Maybe we can swap the movement and dial?

I'm working with Tickleshoes and Misiekped right now to put Yuki 3135s in all my TCs X3 and my BP SD. Genuine hands and datewheels are ordered and Ticklshoes can provide anyone with fully serviced Yukis for $385. I look forward to seeing the JF watch but I fear that it wont be able to take all genuines parts like a TC and that the quality wont match TC so for me I will continue my franken builds. I like TC take an enormous amount of pleasure from these builds and as those of you who know me know I can buy a genuine any day of the week thats why I have 4 genuine Omegas and one genuine Rolex. I believe and maybe I'm delusional we can build a watch that looks nicer and performs as well as any 16610. Just ask @Maron for his thoughts on a genuine 16610 compared to a genuine 2531.80

You said yourself the 2531.80 bracelet is far more substantial then the 16610 and I confirm this. There are a lot of other reasons why in my eyes Omega is a better company over Rolex.

I agree. In a lot of ways omega is ahead of rolex.

Again, I chuckled picking up a 16610 bracelet today and hearing it rattle. But of course once on your wrist it's so comfortable.

Another example is omega use of AR on their crystals.

But both are great watches anyway

Each has their own flair :) I like omega movements and the style of their watches. The AR really makes the dial pop on the PO. However the rolex does also look nice when the light hits the crystal and the dial gets invisible. The only thing that can be seen are those gorgeous hands and indices aah! @Thrasher you must have a really nice collection! How much were the hands and DW may I ask?

Date wheels range from $90 to $120 and Hands $240 to $340 you just have to ask around. I spend a lot of time shopping around.

Maybe it's asked before, but couldn't find it.

I'm deciding between a TC 16610 or BP SD 16600.
As the TC will accept all gen parts, does the BPSD aswell?
