Parts all ordered from TC. The wait begins. I already have gen insert and 704 crown.

Sea-Dweller was just delivered. Basically, the Watch looks good but especially the Bracelet is crappy at my watch

What needs to be swapped out:

- Dial (TC)
- Hands (TC)
- Bracelet (TC)
- Insert (GEN)
- 703 Crown (GEN, ordered)
- 7030 Tube (GEN, ordered)
- DWO (TC, ordered)

Are you getting v3 hands? You may have to change the movement to accomodate the tc hands.

That's exactly it, out of the box it looks fantastic but I have to admit mine felt like a $200 watch.

But believe me with the Gen/TC parts it starts to feel as good as it looks.

Adrian just finished mine up. He said my crown guard were slightly uneven so he fixed that up, otherwise left them alone. He used a wso crystal which he said is an improvement over the stock bp. Said the tc bracelet is nice and snug endlink fit.

Oh and it passed 60 m water resistance.

He's just fixing up my blackbay as well. I expect he'll be shipping them back after the weekend.

So maybe closer to two weeks. Shipping will take 7 days probably.

Of course this thread inspires me to hit SEAD up and pull the trigger and Chinese New Year hits. Agh!

Once he gives me the green light early feb I will be joining you guys in the BP SD franken endeavor.

Will be good to hear your views on the TC crystal.

to clarify the J&k crystal debate, the J&k crystal has changed in shape. Their original crystal had far better chamfers and polishing on the edges. The one I have received for Maron's build is not the same as I have previously handled.

In conclusion, they have either changed their supplier or I have a freak crystal.

On a further note, I see TC is now offering a 285c crystal for the 16600, I will be ordering one of these shortly for comparison.

As it stands at the moment and not having TC's to compare the WSO is the best out there apart from gen

How is your experience with the BP Bracelet? Comparing it to my WM9 93250 it really feels like single links are stuck and the Clasp is very easy to open and close.

I think ill swap this out for a TC [emoji56]

My tc bracelet has a much nicer functioning divers extension, more solid clicking clasp, smoother moving links and sel which apparently is perfectly snug. My bp bracelet was poor.

Thats what I wanted to hear, thanks! Mail to TC is getting fired out soon, I'll order the Dial, Hands and Bracelet from him.

Would you buy a 93160 or an 93250?

Currently, I have an 93250 coming it, but it was meant to be used with my WM9 16610.
