They are supposed to come with 2836 but at some point they started using 2824 with a spacer and long tube hands. You won't know what you are getting until you get it

SEAD was selling the BPSD with the a2836 since March 2016...
Buddy, I'm here for many years now and i have taken countless SD BP in the past.
They are all the same, who sells them sead, toro, intime, puretime etc etc.
They always had the 2824.
In the past all replicas with eta clone reported in the description "2836 clone", although in reality it was a 2824 in many watches.
Only in recent years dealers have begun to properly write the correct movements that are inside the watches in the description, but not always the dealer write properly.
True, and imo the A2824 is a better mov't. and date flips at midnight as gen.Buddy, I'm here for many years now and i have taken countless SD BP in the past.

Same here runs perfect Adrians eta 2836.I'm not sure why they'd put a 2836 day/date movement in an SD but I guess in the Rep world anything is possible.
Having said that Arian put an ETA 2836 in mine as he said it's better than the 2824. I didn't even question and it runs flawlessly.

Does the gen bezel assembly plug and play on bpsd mate? Or need to mod it?
I'm not 100% on that. I think it might require very minimal modification. I know adrian does them.Does the gen bezel assembly plug and play on bpsd mate? Or need to mod it?

its definitely not a "plug and play" swap, there are some very detailed mods to do to the case to get this to fit. The gen SD bezel is made of far tougher material than the BP. It is not machined to the same profile as the BP. It sits lower on the case, which in turn makes your gen insert rub on the case and not turn correctly.Does the gen bezel assembly plug and play on bpsd mate? Or need to mod it?

I have seen a gen bezel forced on, don't even try, you'll warp the bezel.
A gen insert will fit the BP bezel after trimming and not rub on the case.
hope this helps
