Oh damn I have a jandk on the way. Interested what the difference is and how they have changed what they supply?

That's not what adrian said. He said it's their "new version" or something. You'll have to wait and see. I'm pretty sure I advised you to speak to adrian before ordering a crystal

to clarify the J&k crystal debate, the J&k crystal has changed in shape. Their original crystal had far better chamfers and polishing on the edges. The one I have received for Maron's build is not the same as I have previously handled.

In conclusion, they have either changed their supplier or I have a freak crystal.

On a further note, I see TC is now offering a 285c crystal for the 16600, I will be ordering one of these shortly for comparison.

As it stands at the moment and not having TC's to compare the WSO is the best out there apart from gen

I can definitely conform that the GEN xtal you fitted on my previous SD was the best I´ve seen. Rare find those xtals but really sets it apart.

My modder has performed this work:

-Rework case and CG's
-Refinish bezel teeht
-Click of the bezel like gen
-Rework the bezel ring to accept gen luminova bezel
-TC V3 hands set installed
-Movement serviced and some parts are replaced with Eta genuine parts
-Change hand set wheel of the movement (i think he made the H4 mod to fit TC V3 hands beacuse he tell me that these not fit with standard BP movement, but not sure)
- Cleaning case and bracelet with ultrasonic wash machine from dirt
-Cleaning excess of lume on 10 o clock index (lume over the ring)
-remove the dent/chip from reahut at 12:01 with precision machine
-Remove and clean the crystal
-Installed TC SD bracelet
-Installed TC crown/tube set
-Waterproofed at over 10 atm

Its nice to see you back in the Forum Adrian and with an avatar. I hope your work is calming down. Lars has a genuine new Bezel and insert on order and I have asked him to ship it to you as soon as it arrives, I'm very hopeful my SD adventure will be over soon. Its so very tempting to call up HQ Milton and order a genuine but I am hopeful that mine can be done with the TC V3 hand set and RNRPROF crystal along with the genuine bezel I expect it will be beautiful.
